Saving Animals One Meal at a Time

Dinner Specialty

Our furry friends may not fully appreciate the elegance of a white tablecloth or the artistic magnificence of a well-plated dish, but we pet owners and animal admirers certainly do. This June 27th, the 7th Annual Chefs’ Dinner will raise crucial funds for Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) by offering a truly unique dining experience for participants. More than 40 of Philadelphia’s finest chefs will be hosting 4-course meals with wine pairings, preparing dishes tableside for groups of twelve guests seated in special “pods” for the event.

Participating chefs/restaurants include:

Jose Garces/Amada

Nicholas Cassidy/Barclay Prime

Guillermo Pernot/Cuba Libre

David Boyle/Davio’s

Georges Perrier/Le Bec Fin

Ann Cole/Meritage

Michael Yeamans/Rouge

David Wiederholt/The Capital Grille

Quincy Logan/Union Trust

The “Chefs’ Dinner” will be held at the stunning Union League of Philadelphia; the evening’s festivities begin at 6:00pm on Monday, June 27th, 2011. All proceeds of the event benefit such PAWS initiatives as adoption and foster care programs, spay and neuter surgeries, low-cost vaccinations, and more. The much-anticipated event sold out last year, raising nearly $220,000 for PAWS. Ticket options and prices vary, and a portion of ticket costs are tax-deductable for participants. Doing the right thing has never tasted so good.
