Everything was pleasant and great. Our server was awesome. I did not care for the topping on the fish because it had bell pepper and it makes me burp but otherwise it was delicious.

We had a wonderful experience dining at the Mahogany Grille after our train trip ride from Durango to Silverton. The staff was gracious, the service professional and the food excellent. We would highly recommend the Mahogany Grille for dinner.

We came to the Mahogany Grill for a birthday celebration. The food was wonderful, service was good, and the decor in the Hotel was great. In particular, the beautiful stained glass lighting in the dining room. A very memorable experience!

If your going to serve classic menu item's. Ya better do it well. Mahogany Grill at the Strater Hotel knocked it out of the park. My steak Herbert was cooked to perfection and the seasoning / pepper combination was spot-on! The Garlic Mash was delish, the Asparagus were cooked perfectly. Not to soft, not to al dente. The hubby's Prime rid was also a hit along with the loaded baked potato n vegetables. Death by Choc dessert was the perfect finish to a great meal. Our Waitress was great. The young man hosting was working his catoosh off. We will be BACK. Thank You Staff at Mahogany Grill.

Hello to whom it may concern,
We hope that our reservation for this date did get canceled. Dinner was supposed to be on Father's Day for us and my wife mistakenly scheduled it for the 27th instead. When we arrived for dinner on Father's Day, we discovered our mistake from the hostess. She did say that she would cancel this reservation. We're sorry for any inconvenience and yes, if I were to genuinely fill out this survey, I'm sure that it would receive very high marks for each category. Thank you!

We enjoyed everything except having asparagus included on the plate with no forewarning or choice. The asparagus was not mentioned on the menu. My wife cannot eat asparagus and was very disappointed that there was no warning or choice given. Also, we were disappointed in the crabcakes appetizer. It just didn't taste like a crabcake should. Yes, there was crab in it, but it was mushed, shredded crabmeat. The steak was excellent. So was the key lime pie.

We have been here many times now for dinner. Our favorite item has been the clam chowder - we were informed this time that it is gone from the menu. The tomato bisque however was very tasty and we enjoyed that. Still miss the chowder. I had the red trout and it was very good. My husband had the chiopino and while the seafood component was good, the “broth” had changed from broth to pasta sauce - very thick red sauce. He did not like that. So two changes from two items we specifically came here for. Overall the food was good, but we were disappointed due to what I said above. Our server Kerin (spelling?) was excellent.

Our waitress, Rachel, was great. Had a Ceasar salad with excessive dressing and lettuce that was not fresh. If you order a drink be prepared to wait. Grilled salmon was tasty but the toast points with the carpaccio not so much. Can't give the kitchen a 10 but I would go back.

Had reservation to celebrate our anniversary. Restaurant knew we were celebrating as I informed when I made reservations. They seated us toward the front just on the other side of hostess stand. Not very romantic. Food was decent (3.5 stars out of 5). Waitress never even asked us if we wanted desert. Over all staff was nice.

Steak Oscar was rather overcooked and tough..but the grille is always a stop for us on our trips. Hopefully, it’ll be better next time.
