At Brunch the line for the sales register was excessively long! The single person at the register was new and needed help with working and learning the various categories of menu items. Please monitor the line and be ready to help a new employee with keeping the line short. After going through the serving line and then having to wait nearly 10 minutes for the register the food is cold! Fortunately I was able to find a server to reheat the meal.

Yvonne was our server and always does a great job. The new hand breaded shrimp is wonderful and the waffle fries, both the sweet potatoes and the regular potatoes are very much improved. It is wonderful to have the dining room open and be able to socialize once again.

Trying to book a specific time which is not available requires reentering both the date and party size. Could the software retain the "available" entries and just ask for a (in this case) different time? Better yet, give back a list of available times. I ended up asking for each time slot only to find there was nothing for a table of 4. I did wonder if I could have asked for two 2's or for a bigger table and take pot luck on filling the last two seats.

Attended memorial service for Carolyn Massello’s mother Monday. Food was excellent. Small sandwiches, chicken salad, tuna salad, cheese, etc. had little touches that made them extra special. Mayonnaise drizzled in patterns on top of the bread, paprika sprinkled over that for color, or tiny sprigs of parsley. Cheese platters also nicely arranged. Well done!

The experience was outstanding - Samantha & Nicki were our servers - Nicki was sort of training Samantha in handling an order for a bottle of wine and then pouring it for those who were drinking. My food - the salmon - was delicious - all in all - a wonderful evening with 4 old-timers and one new couple as guests. We look forward to another fine evening meal in the dining room.

The evening was a big disappointment for myself and my guests (Table of 7). Reservation time was 5:00 p.m., we checked-in with the staff, so they knew we were ready and waiting to be seated, but we were not seated and had to ask several times when we would be seated. Finally, we were seated at 5:30 p.m. The food order was not taken until 6:30 p.m. We had to ask for bread as some guests had medical need to eat and others were hungry and needed something to eat until the food arrived around 6:50 p.m. Judith had to step in to help with the service.

There were four of us and we all drank coffee with cream. When we caught the eye of the server for refills, we also asked for creamers. The coffee came, but no creamers. We asked for them again, still no creamers. We asked two different servers (one of whom had asked if we needed anything!), but again, no creamers. We finally gave up. It would be nice if, once the meal was served, the server would periodically check on the diners, would listen to what was said, and then provide what was needed.

I ordered my hamburger last night (Wed) rare and it came back well done. The bun was soggy. I don't know what happened to the onion rings which were formerly the best and most dependably good thing on the menu. However, last night they were dry and tasteless--definitely not the onion rings of the past. I did not send my food back because everyone else was eating, the service had already been slow and I didn't want to hold up the group up for a hamburger. Overall experience and ambiance had to do with the company at our table. My rating was for Wednesday nights dinner.
Tuesday night I had the Tender Blue which was excellent and cooked to rare perfection. It has always been a winner.

The meal was delicious. The steak done medium rare. One guest loved his grilled shrimp. I was so glad we could all get sweet potato fries. Theresa is coming right along with her training. She has a funny entertaining personality. My husband marveled at the size of the ribs and enjoyed the taste. Things seem to be improving in the dining room. That’s great The chow line food is still iffy. I like the stuffed bell peppers, the brisket, the meat loaf, the meat balls with spaghetti. Many times I don’t have anything to choose from and then I hope I can get tuna/ chicken salad. You never miss with that dish.

Judith and Caitlin did a great job welcoming us and seating us immediately. Having the shrimp and spinach dip appetizer on the table was a nice touch in addition to the lovely white tablecloths and fall decor. Our table server, Ivonne, was prompt and attentive, greeting us like family. We felt honored by having so many servers in the cafeteria line. It was a bit discombobulated picking up a tray by the door, then getting in line by the cashiers counter. Next time, perhaps the trays could be put near the cashiers counter where the line began. It would have been a much nicer experience for families to be waited on at the tables but then, if it was a meal in our own homes, we would have had everyone parade through the kitchen to serve themselves! We were thankful to have such a delicious meal prepared for us. Loved the dessert buffet! We truly appreciate the commitment of all our Dining Facilities Staff for giving their time on a holiday to prepare the tables, cook a traditional Thanksgiving meal, and serve us so graciously.

We loved having neighbors to dine with in the dining room. Cynthia is a superb waitress attending to all our wants. The temperature of the room was a little cool for the two women. All 4 of us ordered the salmon tart. One was disappointed that there was not much salmon in the tart. One hour was sufficient time.

Excellent job done by Wait Staff. They are short in numbers, but not short in professionalism, enthusiasm, and patience. Things were handled in a different manner which unfortunately was not known to residents. Still the Dining Room personnel were top notch in handling the Brunch meals. Yvonne is an amazing woman who always deals with whatever comes her way with marvelous capability in getting things accomplished and a smile on her face.

Our group was seated at three different tables very comfortably. At my table our waitress, Irene, was very attentive and patient with one of the women at my table who was not very pleasant to Irene since this resident’s salmon was undercooked. Irene handled it beautifully with respect for the resident and maturity to know not to take it personally. Five star service rating for Irene! The rest of us at the table thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Ruby did a fine job taking care of our order and serving-always friendly and pleasant.
Our food was delicious-three had omelets, one King Ranch, one big salad, and mine was turkey with vegetables. The pastry with fruit was so flaky and marvelous. The Waldorf salad is ever a winner.
Thanks and appreciation to any and all who had a part in the meal service.

FOR FIRST MEAL IN THE REDONE DINING ROOM BECAUSE OF THE COVID PROBLEMS, THEY SERVED THE MEAL QUICKLY AND ALL WAS FINE. THE DINING ROOM WAS NICELY FILLED WITH DINERS, TALKING AND EACH TABLE ENJOYING SOME EXTENDED COMPANY THAT'S BEEN MISSING FOR MONTHS HERE. I TRIED TO LOG IN ON THE 10 SPOT, BUT THE WEBSITE WOULDN'T RECORD ANY NUMBER.

We enjoyed the service wait staff. Some need to check the diners to see if they need refills on beverages. I was disappointed when I couldn’t request a better table location away from the hot windows! We were denied by the hostess she said the other tables weren’t set. Yet we were the only diners next to the hot window area!?

It was a wonderful dinner to celebrate our beginning to return to normal! The Valentine’s Day dinner was outstanding. Our table ordered each of the entrees and we were all very happy with our choices. From the soup to the dessert everything was delicious, even though some substitutes had to be made. All was excellent.
Lori DeWitt was a cheerful hostess despite having to work overtime to seat everyone. The wait staff was great. Our waitress, Teresa, had been working since 8 that morning and was getting really tired by 7:30 but she brought us everything we requested and kept on smiling. Our senior staff were everywhere helping new staff, and we even saw line cooks helping in the dining room. We are grateful to have a staff so willing to go out of their way to provide a special meal for us, even when it meant working outside their own sphere.
It was a great way to start a new beginning, and from all the happy faces in the dining room we could see that everyone was glad to be able to socialize with friends and neighbors together again.
Thank you for all the effort it took to make so many residents happy all at once!

Our food service is provided my Morrison. Few things are tasty and well cooked but the majority of food is mixed with ? and over seasoned to a point it burns the mouth. Most of it we discard.
