I love the Royal Tea Room. I have taken 3 friends and my sister there to experience drinking tea out of beautiful tea cups and eat delicious scones. The ambience is great. I also like being able to choose and purchase more scones before I leave. I will continue to come there and bring others to experience it. I've been to several tea rooms (Dearborn, Royal Oak), but the Royal Tea Room is still my favorite.

This was the first time visit for my sister in law and niece. They enjoyed the food and the experience. After having child tea parties, we thought it would be nice for my niece to enjoy one as an older child. The food was very good, the scones were great. One caveat- the cups with little legs have a tendency to tip and spill. Our server was kind enough to get a new cup and saucer

We absolutely loved this place and took our nieces there for their first proper tea. I'd say having a couple of different types of kid friendly tea sandwiches might work better and/or toasting the grilled cheese might help. Not sure if some baked chicken fingers for the little girls can be on the menu - but that's minutia. This was a phenomenal experience.

I met a friend that I used to work with years ago as we both love tea. It was a great experience. We love the ambiance of the tea room with all the beautiful dishes, lace tablecloths and furniture. I hadn't been there since before COVID and it was every bit as nice as before. We had a spectacular time, the food was fantastic and Rex treated us like royalty. The other staff was awesome also. Ten thumbs up!

What a wonderful experience, the food and service is truly outstanding. The tea room itself feels like you’ve gone back in time, the decor is so unique. We felt like we were in tea room somewhere in England.

We loved everything about it and had an enjoyable time. The room was pleasantly spacious and comfortable. When we entered, all the white tablecloths and the china place settings, along with the rest of the decor, made it look look very inviting. The food and tea were great and attractively served. The portions were just right. The service was efficient and cheerfully attentive. We did not experience anything that we thought needed improving.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance was perfectly lovely, as a little tea room should be. The scones are JUST DELICIOUS; the best scones we have ever tasted. We have been there a nimber of times and we will certainly return.
