Frequently Asked Questions- What is the minimum spend for VIP room?
- We have two VIP rooms, for one room minimum spend is RM500 and we do have 3 kind of package menu, if you need a peace of mind. We can also advice you on the menu based on guest restrictions or allergies.
- What is the dining time?
- The dining time is 1 hour 30 minutes per reservation. We are going to hold your table up to 15 minutes and if you are running late, hit us up through Whatsapp so we can hold your table.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful night. Wonderful ambience, fast service and good food. The staff were kind and catered to all our needs. Hi! Kingu Kongu has become my favourite Japanese & I’ll definitely make a more frequent visit there. But there are a few things that can improved, taste wise :) the Yaki Nasu wasn’t great bcs the eggplant wasn’t grilled enough & some of them were quite tough. For Salmon Tataki, the lotus bits were really burnt & it overpowered the salmon (but the salmon tasted amazing still!). Hope these are helpful bcs I’m looking forward to having more meals there :)

Food wise, everything we had was good except for the umami fries. It was underwhelming, having only the bonito flakes as a topping and mayo dip - thought it wasn't worth the price. Also disappointed to find out that the mentaiko rice isn't part of the ala-carte menu as it should be.
Service wise, considering that we came in for the 7:00PM buka seating, we were served very quick and had little to wait on the rest of the food - that was very impressive considering the crowd that came in for buka. Although towards the end, the servers were not very attentive to the first two seats near the window.. It was very hard to get them over to enquire on the menu and to ask for the bill that we had to personally go over to them to ask on the menu.
If not, everything else is good! Will definitely come back!

Had a great time at the restaurant! food was delicious, especially the signature salmon mentai ball—definitely a must-try. The service was quick and friendly, and the ambiance made it a nice spot to hang out with family and friends. However, The squid could've been more consistent in size, as it was smaller than advertised. It would be awesome if the resto added some Japanese sweets and iced desserts to the menu. Overall, a solid experience, and I’ll definitely be back. Good luck to the team!"
