Great food and fantastic service. Would highly recommend
was there to meet with a friend and totally enjoyed the experience. Was made to feel very safe, with proper safety measures and distancing. The food was amazing as well. tasted well, with generous portions.
Our waitress Andreea was very pleasant and she made our experience an excellent one, my sister in law really enjoyed her Birthday meal :) thanks guys, will recommend
Great quality curry, ice cold Cobra draft tasted crisp and clean too. Overall fantastic restaurant. 2nd time we've been in 3 weeks!
Fantastic
This is the best Indian restaurant I have been to. The dishes are amazing! The food was cooked fresh and tasted sensational.
Fantastic food. Weak orange drinks. Charged twice for the one beer I had but corrected promptly
It was quite busy and our main came late but the food was fantastic.
Fantastic experience as always, the Indo Chinese menu was a treat
A bit expensive, but really good restaurant
House of Flavours is the best Indian Restaurant in Reading.
Wonderful food
Fantastic food, good service and well organised during Covid times. Highly recommend House of Flavours
The food is always amazing when I got to house of Flavour... Great value for money.. Had a bit of a sad experience as we where seated in a corner near the bar and the staff where loud and dishes where being put behind me in a loud and unpleasant manner.. But other then that it was a great night out will definitely go back and recommend.....
Excellent food and service.
Thanks for the warm welcome back , lovely to see familiar faces , you are well geared to diner safe without losing a wonderful dining experience , look forward to seeing you in August
The waiter was a bit rude and she didn't quite understand what we asked her. The food was really good though but the service could have been better.
We had a very good time and staff were excellent !! Food was also amazing and pass on my respect to Chef
Waitresses seems very unsure about the dishes we were ordering. Maybe temporary staff?
Been here loads of times and a great meal as always. Good covid screens between tables. Felt nice and safe
Food was fantastic: best curry I've ever eaten! Service was friendly, if a little slow, and I had to wait some time for my main course, but it was worth the wait.
We have been to House of Flavours many times. Food is always good. Only thing which I noticed this time is that starter's quantity was too less and it took a long time for starter to come. May be because of the crowd which I can understand but starter quantity should be increased a bit.
Chicken korma has changed. Much more spicy and different taste as well
Love it at House of Flavours and felt very safe. Delicious food and great service
Very nice food and good service.
Great food, decent portions, peshwari naan particularly worth trying. Menu is currently via a QR code to view online which makes it a bit awkward but is Covid secure. Wine not so great however. Ordered a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that definitely didn't taste like Sauvignon Blanc. Queried it but was assured it was. Overall a lovely evening.
Love the food! I wish it weren't so expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. The lime pickle is a bit expensive for the tiny tub of it.
It would be great if the restaurant provided paper menus. Having to go and look on the website is not a good dining experience. Everything else is excellent. Well done to all.
We are regulars at HoF and even the owners know us very well. The service this time around was just sub par and it turned out our order was missed in the kitchen and when the food arrived it was along with the dinner. Finally it was sorted and the food as usual was amazing . We definitely recommend the place to anyone who fancies good Indian dinner but would just like the management to make a note of the slip up and ensure the short comings are rectified
The food always is the best you can get in Reading. Unfortunately the service needs to improve, the waiting staff are not very helpful.
Gorgeous food! Early days of opening, staff doing really well. Was welcomed warmly and there was plenty of space
Great food thank you. Scanned menus are a bit difficult
Decent enough food but the waiters are in your face constantly and never leave you alone.
Good decor, bit empty, but it was a Sunday evening on a bank holiday weekend, so normal. The really bad thing was the service. We had 2 servers who could not understand English. We could not have a conv ersation with them. All we could do was speak in pigeon English and point to things on the menu. We ordered a beer for my daughter and then realised that as she was driving that she couldn't drink it. Asked for a non-alcoholic beer instead. They took the beer back, so we didn't drink it, but they charged us for it! If I have to pay, I'm drinking it! Disappointing
Good food but seated right in front of the door so got a chilly draught throughout the evening!
Great food, slow service, but that was ok, I like a nice relaxed meal. But when my friend ordered another drink, it didn't arrive. Then he ordered it again, and it still didn't arrive. Yet it was on the bill. And it was more than twice the price of the first drink, even though it should have been the same. Then they took the cheaper one off the bill. So then we had bill number three, with lots of excuses rather than just an apology.
