I booked for a group of us, and we had a great evening. Table was ready when we arrived, and we were able to drag a couple of extra chairs up too as we had two more people than expected. Food was great, really generous portions, and the drinks were amazing too - the 2 for £10 on the cocktails is great value - the cocktails are amazing. The Berliner always has great music too.

We go to the quiz night on a Wednesday evening. Which is always a sold out event each week, it’s very popular with the locals and students.
Love the atmosphere here, the drinks are reasonably priced and the food selection easy pub food I.e pizzas, hot dogs etc.
they also serve gluten free pizza, a massive plus for me

Second time visiting. Sat in a different area and venue seemed more full. Staff were attentive but not quite as attentive as previous week think being out of eye shot of bar and busier evening meant longer wait time and more difficulty placing drinks order.
We were group of 6. 2 of us ordered hot dogs which were good value.
Complimentary pizza for teams of 4 or more when quizzing is always a win. Will be back for more.

We didn’t eat food so I scored zero.
Lady serving us was very abrupt, not warm and inviting. The atmosphere has changed a lot since before Covid. Cocktails were disappointing and the Long Island iced tea was missing a key ingredient. It was quiet so atmosphere was hard to judge. It used to have a fun vibe but this was lacking unfortunately. Maybe because there was a lack of people in there .
