Frequently Asked Questions- Can we bring our dog?
- Yes well behaved dogs are very welcome outside in our garden or cabin!
- What's the latest booking time?
- Our last sitting is 8.30pm with all tables vacated by 10.00pm. This is to ensure peace and quiet for our neighbours and hotel guests. Breakfast & Brunch is served 9am - 3pm Lunch & Dinner menus are served 12pm - 8.30pm (last sitting)
- Can we book as a large group?
- We require a deposit for tables of 7 or more. If you would like a table of 7+ please call the restaurant directly.
- I can't book for 8 or more on your website?
- No problem! Please call 02392 008555 or email [email protected] to book in.
- What happens when it rains?
- We have a lovely indoor area including a conservatory too with floral bar and boutique decor - come in and shelter from the rain if tables are available.
- Do you have a smoking area?
- No the whole area is strictly non smoking
- Do we need to pay a deposit to secure our booking?
- Tables of 7+ will be contacted after booking to pay a deposit of £10 per person to secure their booking.
- Do you take deposits for tables?
- Due to the high number of no show tables we have had to start taking deposits for tables of 7 or more. If you book a table of 7 or more online please contact us on 02392 008555 to pay your deposit or we will call you.
- Do you have parking?
- Please park on Southsea Esplanade 3minutes walk away. We do not have parking for restaurant guests.
- Can you cater for vegans?
- Of course! We have a vegan menu.

One of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had. If I’m being critical, I’d say the spring greens were slightly over seasonsed, everything else - literally everything else was cooked to perfection. Freshly made apple sauce with the pork was a lovely touch. Service was personal and very welcoming with a warming and tasteful decor inside. A little on the pricey side for portion size but you get what you pay for as the ingredients as well as chefs knowledge and experience are worth it.

We were guests at the Florence House, and enjoyed having this lovely Garden Restaurant next door. Breakfasts were tasty and filling. But the pizzas were outstanding! Food was delicious! The two vegan meals were amazing, with the burger being the nicest I've ever tried. My friend had the creole corn which he loved and apparently the salmon was beautiful too. First visit to this little gem of a restaurant. Oh my goodness what an absolute delight this venue is. Would highly highly recommend. Brilliant decor, amazing service by Ami and the food was incredible. Have already told lots of friends and cannot wait to visit again

This restaurant is located in a side street off of the seafront. Its outside in the garden of a boutique hotel and is set with tables and large umbrellas and a summer house for Al fresco dining. Off to the side a pizza oven where most of the food is cooked. The atmosphere is relaxing. Staff are polite, attentive. The menu is well put together and offers a separate vegan menu which is a bonus. We were a party of 5 and had a pizza, chicken breast burger, beef burger, the corn ribs and the camembert in homemade bread. All were well presented and we all ate the lot. No complaints there. Dessert was only for 3 of the group and the chocolate brownie was good with salted caramel ice-cream but a little bit small. Though the ice-cream for the other 2guests was a locally sourced and great quality it was small overpriced and came in a tub like you get at the cinema. That was disappointing after such well presented food before.
Overall a good choice. The weather will effect the number of people that visit here but we will come back.
