My table booking request was fulfilled perfectly - very impressed! Thank you. It would be great to have a members special meal for dinner again, but the main menu is great with something for everyone. My only wish is for there to be a solid walled separation between the smoking area and the general area as the smoke smell does blow across the room. Otherwise, it was a great night with great entertainment! Thank you :)

It was mothers day and us mothers could only get a free glass of champagne if you purchased the mothers day special. We were a table of 6 people and 2 of us are mothers. It would have a wonderful gesture for the hoey moey to give all mothers whom ate their to be given a glass of champagne to celebrate their special day and to show the venue cares about their customers. Maybe next year thankyou

Booking was easy and staff were friendly and prompt with service. Only downside was not being able to amend the specials ie no salad/chips only, also there was a constant loud bang that sounded like a car hitting the building but I think it may have been the wind slamming the door which would’ve been better if someone attended as it was frightening each time it banged!

Was a great place to have our booking on Sunday. We booked a table for 40 which they were totally fine with. They were short staffed and we were told it could be awhile to wait but everyone had their food 15-20 minutes after they ordered which was super fast. Thanks guys

We dined here on 10th and 12th July, extremely busy nights although we had a booking, on arrival at the table Wade approached us to assist with a highchair and identified the high table with bar stools was not going to be suitable for us with 3 kids under 5yrs. Wade very quickly found a suitable alternative solution. Food was excellent and staff in restaurant all worked cohesively to make everything run smoothly. On our second night, we had the same experience and situation (high table) with our table only this time we were approached by Paula who efficiently sorted us an alternative. Please recognise Wade and Paula for the fantastic service they provide.

Had two dinners here while staying for the long weekend. The staff where ways helpfull and polite. Food was yummy and promptly cooked. While it was very busy when we attended both nights, it was very organised and well run. Very happy with both nights only one thing was the toilets where a lite dirty on the sunday but this is probally expected after such a busy day. Would definitely come back

I really appreciated the Hoey making available your hostess Paula, who was so attentive and supportive of the needs of our Guide Dogs clients with vision impairment and their guide dogs. She set us up in a separate area and came and took our orders, at the table, provided eftpos payment at the table and then delivered our meals with no fuss, such a smooth operator. I know that one normally lines up to order, pay and then collect meals, so this extra service made for an excellent dining experience. Paula was even at the door as we departed to bid us farewell...top class! On behalf of Guide Dogs, thank you so much for a pleasant and easy dining experience for our clients.

We were travelling through Coffs for the night and wanted something family friendly. We went on a Tuesday night in the holidays and the place was packed. The kids meal was more for smaller kids and having a 12 year old it was a bit small but kids meals are hard because of the age spread. We had pizza and pasta at the table and they were really good and good value. Would happily go back next time we are in the area.

The weekday special wasn’t very fresh you could tell the chicken schnitzel had been sitting for a while as it wasn’t crispy. I would rather wait 10 minutes for a fresh meal then something instant that wasn’t very great. Other than that everything was good

Drinks and food service was great. My problem with the service was that when we asked if someone could change the channel so the kids could watch the 9pm fireworks, we were told that they were too busy to locate the remote control. I actually called to find a manager and was told the same thing. The manager spent 5 minutes telling me he was too buys when it was probable a 30 second task to get the remote out?? Was a real shame to disappoint the kids.

Sorry the girl on the register did not listen. She had and Accent. Twice she took my order of 3 cutlets and one steak. I asked for gravey on the side and it was poured all over the food. It was thick and salty. I have eaten there before but my friends had not and owned a restaurant for 30 years. What food without gravey was very tasty. Great chefs. Ros

Some of the meals were great and good value, the kids meal of chips and nuggets of $13 was a bit moch for what it was 3 nuggets and a few chips slapped on a plate. The area was lovely and we played trivia but the cigarette smoke was terrible and we had to leave after we ate as it was so strong. We would have loved to stay .

I had the same lamb salad I had a month earlier but it was very different. The lamb was very fatty, in fact by the time I cut it off, there was more fat than lamb. I normally enjoy my dinner at Hoey Moey but not this time.
