Our new and extended dining restaurant, fully licensed bar and cosy coffee shop is a bright and spacious area with a choice of different seating areas for you to enjoy as well as huge lawned gardens which are perfect for a picnic. We’re open 7 days a week and have disabled access, baby changing facilities, free wifi, outside seating and a children’s play area – all with beautiful views across the Blackmore Vale.
Whether you want a Great Udder Breakfast, a light lunch, Sunday roast or an afternoon tea, we serve a wide range of delicious meals and snacks, all freshly cooked to order. We have an extensive Gluten Free menu and are happy to cater for other special dietary requirements – just let us know when you place your order.

Booking Notes:
Please let us know by phone or online if you need to cancel or if you are going to be late. We will hold tables for 15 minutes only, unless we are notified of a delay. Reservations are for indoor tables only. Table occupancy is for 2 hours maximum. We have over 20 outdoor tables, which you may choose to dine at on arrival. We have a designated outdoor area for diners with dogs, however assistance dogs may accompany their owners anywhere inside or outside.

A wonderful place to spend an afternoon eating and celebrating a family birthday. The staff were fab, from making sure the cake was bought out at just the right time, to getting a group of employees who weren't working to come and join in singing. The view from this restaurant is fantastic - even in the dull winter weather! I chose a baked potato which was lovely and had lots of filling. My husband however chose a sandwich on white bread with a prawn filling He said the bread seemed a little stale as if it had been left out so he did not enjoy his lunch as I did.

I chose to have the vegetarian lasagne, sadly the garlic bread was really hard and the salad was served in a hot dish suggesting it might have been sat under the hot plate waiting for the rest of the meals. The lasagne itself was a bit dry which was a shame.

This was a well organised event. A Christmas quiz and dinner. There must have been well over a hundred diners. All of our table of 6 received an excellent Christmas meal and sweet. The service was mainly by young people but were clearly well trained in what was required. We all commented on how well the young staff were instructed on how to ‘wait’ . When we asked about ‘Tipping’ it wasn’t made clear how it worked.

We come regularly and always book a table as it is popular. The parking is great, wonderful farm shop and the food in the restaurant is good value for money. Always lovely to see your friendly staff in the restaurant.

We had a wonderful time and we were both very kindly offered a complimentary piece of cake after our delicious meal, as we were celebrating a joint 60th Birthday. Beautiful views of the countryside too. I would highly recommend a visit & the shop is fantastic too! Thank you for a lovely time.
