Came out on Friday evening for a girly night out and had the best time ever. It ended up being a great long night, the only downside is the table had to be handed back after 2 hours, so we stood at the bar for a while. Other than this, it represented value for money and the DJ was absolutely fab! He understood our needs and took us on a memorable trip down memory lane. Absolute 10/10 for Mr.

I attend 84 West regularly every Friday and each time, I have a fantastic experience because of the food, ambiance and music.
Ambience: The decor is very classic and attracts a certain caliber of Nigerian professionals including people from other cultures who want the African experience and they have a good time.
Service: The customer service has improved over recent months as the majority of complaints have been in this area.
Food: The food is very tasty, looks different and is good value for money.
Improvements: The main complaint so far and what has led to a lot of Nigerians boycotting the venue is about the way they have been treated. This needs to improve as customer service is key to the success of any establishment.

My only suggestion is that you add a couple of Vegan dishes - unfortunately one of our guests couldn't eat anything. Also price was a bit too high for some of our guests - they weren't happy with the end bill. The restaurant is a great place to come with groups so it's important that prices are open to all budgets - I was happy to pay surcharge for the band but food prices on top of that were high. Quality of food and service was high as usual. Much less crowded on this visit than previous visits which meant it was easier for my group to book a table for 6. A slightly fuller house may have added to the ambience. They had a temporary (hopefully) problem with the toilets which was a bit of problem. I hope it has been resolved. The Abula (amala, ewedu, gbegiri and assorted meat) did not disappoint and was a great hit with our entire group.

Great vibes, mostly friendly staff, great dj, service was good, drinks were nice. There was a bit of a struggle to get consistent service from wait staff, although we were assigned afolabi (who was really good by the way) he was dealing with too many tables at once so other people had to serve us and we sometimes struggled to get attention when we needed things. Asides from that will be back again.

We were waiting forever to get our table. When we finally did, no one came to take our orders. I had to go get one of the ladies myself. When one did come, strict instructions weren't followed. We asked for our drinks to come first as we've been waiting for our table for some time, we got really thirsty. Both drinks and food we ordered weren't logged/handed in. We waited for over an hour until the lady that originally checked us in saw our table empty. She took initiative to take our orders the 2nd time and she made sure she delivered everything by herself. I'm giving the service score an average solely because of her. She looked after us the right way.

I like you restaurant a lot hence my coming there for the 3rd time. Shame on this occasion despite my boasting about your restaurant to my friends and wanting to introduce your restaurant to my friend all the way from Wimbledon to your end only be be informed towards the end of our birthday meal told you had no active restroom as all was blocked and my guests were directed to go to Macdonald's, five minutes from your restaurant.
I was embarrassed and disappointed. The ambiance is really nice and Afolabi was really professional and attended to my party and guests were very impressed with his service. Thank you.

Service was good as well as the ambience. However I struggle to understand the 2 hour time frame for bookings when you have to relinquish your table. This means that one should avoid ordering starters as your main meal will then be delivered a bit over an hour after your arrival. You will then be required to rush your meal and leave. or go to a crowded bar where you will have no comfort and also be told you are standing on the walkway. This timing needs to be reviewed to encourage attendance.

The food is good, but it takes forever to get to you . I noticed those servers have preferences given to known faces . And you have to remind them what you have ordered over again because they left to attend to someone else . Appoint servers to particular tables so that there is no mix up with orders . Not happy with Still water served in Sparking water bottle that is not sealed. Not sure if it’s not tap eater that was sold to us.
