Excellent evening! Everything was perfect! I love getting the round table! Such a great way to see all of your party. Fried green tomatoes are a fabulous appetizer (My favorite!) The chicken fried steak, meatloaf, and jalapeno corn was top notch. What a hidden gem tucked into downtown Readyville!

When we visited this restaurant they were short staffed due to call outs. We had reservations, but we’re seated almost 30 minutes past our reservation time. There was only one server and a hostess trying to service many patrons.
The food was not really great. The gravy was cold and extremely runny. It was not the wonderful sausage gravy we have had at this restaurant before.
I will say, the server was very apologetic and did a great job meeting our needs. She was just extremely overwhelmed and should never have been expected to wait on that many tables by herself.
