I have been here before and I can say that their service and the food quality is so amazing!!! The potato dauphinois was the best. I can taste the truffle oil lingering to my mouth and the creaminess of the sauce the serves into perfection. Even the pork is so tender and juicy! High compliment to the Chef!

Sous Sol is original, beautiful and very romantic.
We had bone marrow, steak tartare, leg of duck and wild boar chop.
The duck was a little overdone; everything else was exceptional!

I've been to Sous Sol twice now and both times I felt like I was in a distinctly other place. This time we were seated next to a table covered in wax and it felt like Disneyland with a greater sense of mystery. The service was friendly and unpretentious but very knowledgeable. Me and my boyfriend have gone to sous sol 3 times & everytime we go, its AMAZING. The staff is always so nice and welcoming. We always go for the potato dauphinoise & the bone marrow. We had heard they had taken out the manitoba honey because people had complained but that is one of our FAVOURITE dishes there as well as the beef and boar & we hope it gets brought back. Safe to say, Sous Sol is our favourite date night spot

Such a cool place! Most of the menu is gluten free so that's awesome. Fire and fun is worth the extra $5, super cool to light alcohol on fire and roast a marshmallow over it. The food is delicious, but definitely order a few different things because portions are small and mains don't come with sides, those are ordered separately. This is commonplace in France and other European countries but not something we are used to here! Was about $180 for dinner for two.

What a unique experience! The side dishes could be the main event- brussel sprouts, scallop potatoes are full of flavour, gnocchi melts in your mouth. The cocktail list is fantastic and one-of-a-kind. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and work to make the experience memorable!
