An excellent evening
The meal was excellent. I can't recommend the home made game pie highly enough. Service was friendly without being overbearing. The only lost point was for ambience as I feel the table added since our last visit crowds the bar area in front of the fire somewhat. That said, we will be back.

Lovely atmosphere and food amazing. The only thing I would say is that there were no real options for veggies apart from soup. The soup was lovely but even if there was just one main that would be great. Still loved it though

We went to the Red Lion in Hinxton for a roast dinner and it was better than we were expecting. We’ve tried a few places since everything opened after lockdown and this place has been the best! Food was delicious and staff friendly and accommodating to our fussy eating toddler. We will definitely be back!
Great food, drinks and services. Our dogs were very welcome and looked after with water and treats!
We enjoyed a most memorable lunch for 5 of us sitting outside in ideal weather. We all ordered different main courses and they were all excellent, well presented and adequate in quantity. We followed with desserts and the chocolate fondants were particularly delicious. Quite expensive but where isn`t these days?
