Gorgeous hotel with old world charm and lovely peaceful location. The dining room was neither busy nor dead quiet on a midweek evening - perfect ambience for dinner for our group of four. Food was excellent especially the scallops, the seared salmon and the lamb. Only 8/10 for food due to falafels being bland and too mushy and the pavlova dessert being over meringued - not enough fruit.
Great small family run hotel with great dining. Freshly cooked mostly local produce well served in lovely surroundings. Will definitely return.
We had scallops, beef wellington, asparagus and salmon. All was absolutely delicious. The waitress was a joy too - good spark and attentive without being overly 'there'. Best meal we've had in the area for a long time and we regularly visit the area.
