We enjoyed our lunch and I’m sure on another day or in an evening the Restaurant would be more lively. We had to go looking for the waitress so we could order coffee but we weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t a major issue.

Once again a lovely warm welcome from staff when we took our grandson for lunch.
A good variety of food from the lunch menu and ‘specials’ board. Sat at a window table in the upstairs restaurant is always so relaxing, staff are always attentive and friendly. We have been coming to the Marine for many years either with family or friends but even when it’s just both of us we are guaranteed a lovely lunch or dinner in cosy surroundings ⭐️

I often get fish & chips when dining at a restaurant by the ocean, so it is from experience when I say that yesterday I had one of the best fish & chips lunches that I’ve ever had!
And though I’m not one of those people who takes a pic of their meal to post it on social media, I actually did take a photo of my f&c - just so I could remember it.
My companion had the venison and said it was wonderful, also!

Always a warm welcome at the Marine! Rob and his team are very efficient and friendly. A good variety of dishes whether it be lunch or dinner, the fish dishes are usually a winner and the majority of dishes are locally sourced. A window seat is a must for a lovely view of the harbour so worth booking early, outdoor table service too on a sunny day so what’s not to like!

So easy to book and very last minute. Fantastic service, the staff were very kind to move us to a window view. The food was was very nice indeed. Definitely going back.
