We are from New Jersey and are staying in Jim Thorpe for a mini vacation. Someone suggested Trattoria 903 for dinner. What a great night!. The service, the food, the Ambiance —- impeccable !! Everything was delicious, hot and so unique. I was expecting the vodka cream sauce to be your basic vodka cream - it was something so delicious and it had a unique little flair to it that I could not pinpoint what exactly was making it so utterly irresistible. Whatever it was keep on doing it! We had a party of seven and everyone enjoyed every second of our night. The rolls that they give you before your dinner comes or so Warm, soft on the inside and crusty on the outside. Thank you Trattoria 903

Still our favorite restaurant!!!! Crab-Corn bisque was tasty, smooth and rich. Caesar Salad was crispy, crunchy and full of anchovies and shaved parmesan. Grilled Octopus Fra Diablo and Crab-Encrusted Grouper entrees were perfectly cooked and delicious. Portions are huge. Drinks were cold and well-made. Server Amanda was wonderful.

Amazing food. Great glass of wine. We had the Fig & Prosciutto appetizer & the fresh Mussels with red sauce both were outstanding. I had the veal and shrimp dinner and my husband had the seafood medley with angel hair pasta. The pasta was so fresh and delicious. We were so full we got our dessert to go which the lemon cake.
We sat outside which was great except for all the traffic going past but the sunset made up for the noice f the cars. Our waitress was ok.

This was the first time that we (a couple from NJ) have eaten inside a restaurant since the beginning of March due to the pandemic. Trattoria 903 has done things well ... tables very generously spaced and staff well attired with masks. Dinner was, as usual, delicious. A wedge salad started us with crisp iceberg, tomatoes, roasted peppers and loads of crispy bacon. Steamed clams were flavorful with plenty of yummy sauce for dipping the wonderful rolls into. Entrees were Red Snapper (cooked perfectly) and Tortellini Michelangelo, which I could eat every day with its abundance of meaty mushrooms and pancetta. Martinis were perfection !!!!

Loved the outdoor seating! Though they did not have my first choice (tortellini) the Rigatoni alla Vodka was delicious. My husband said his Lasagna was almost as good as the one he makes from scratch!!! Portions were generous and prices very reasonable. Our server was very attentive and the owner made every attempt to make sure people were comfortable.

We had wonderful food on Saturday. We requested seating outdoors due to the pandemic. It is well documented by the CDC and other sources that indoor activities led to transmission of the virus. However, it was a chilly afternoon. Outdoor tall propane heaters would be beneficial at this venue. Other places we have eaten in the Poconos (Barley Creek and Van Gilders Jubillee) have outdoor heating units for patrons.

Online reservation was simple. Glasses of wine were less than a 4 oz pour which was less than adequate. Some of the entrees were amazing. We had 1 entree where the sauce on the tortellini Michael Angelo was very runny.

Sadly, we were not able to sit inside due to COVID19 restrictions and sat on the deck.
However.......no matter the fact we were outside and listening to cars traveling up and down the road parallel to the deck......as always, the food was OUTSTANDING....Tuna for my husband....Shrimp for me with a shared Crab stuffed mushroom appetizer......this restaurant NEVER disappoints......cannot wait until we are allowed to eat inside.

We came for a 50th Birthday celebration and a party of 8. For the ambience it was nice inside but our view from our table looking into the fall foliage was tainted by the trash pile outside the window. As most of our food was fabulous, the Matriarch s salmon was extremely charred on the outside making only the inside edible. Sad. Service was decent and our waitress was nice.
