Service, drinks, and food was superb as always.

We had a slightly odd seating request for our party of four that was handled perfectly. The staff were attentive and friendly. Our food and drinks were outstanding.

It was our first time there, and we were very impressed. The food was excellent, as was the service. We happened to have some conversation with the owner while we were there, and he’s a very pleasant and knowledgeable man. All around it was a great time!

Everything was great. Our only comments were that the fries were too salty and I wish there was a large plate option with poultry. We’ll be back for sure and recommended the restaurant to others as well.

Best food in the valley! Hands down from a foodie!!! Can’t wait to go back!

The website menu listed foie gras, but the restaurant menu did not. Disappointed, but pleased with other food items listed and selected.

A caring, quality experience from the moment we entered and were greeted by a gracious hostess to the attention of our server, this was a great evening. The food was fabulous and artfully prepared and when coupled with great service, the experience was memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you to the staff for adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Went for a birthday dinner and was so impressed! The cocktails and all of the food we had were unique and so delicious. Will go again!

Seriously the best restaurant in Fox Valley.

Nice place with a range of offerings from gourmet to more common. Wish they had some mocktails as part of their cocktail menu offerings.

This was definitely in the top 3 delicious meals I've ever had in Appleton and our server was beyond compare! Being on the highest end of the price scale unfortunately means it's a "once a year" treat. See you again next year!

Very exciting to have another fine dining restaurant in Appleton. While on the pricier side, you certainly get what you pay for. The service was spectacular and the atmosphere facilitated a perfect evening.

Another great meal. We had decided on the Valentine special for $90 which we saw pictured on FB. Ordered said item and the diver scallops were not included as listed on FB pic, online menu. The restaurant menu did not list the scallops when we discussed this with the server. The portion for the entrée was not substantial as well. Remember we are here "to eat or snack, especially often or in large quantities"! So great food, but not a great value with the scallop exclusion, and the portion size. See you soon.

Only bump in the road was that our waitress waited 10 mins to put our drink order in. Otherwise is was an excellent and delightful experience

We decided to try Fress because we enjoyed our experience at the previous restaurant with the same chef/owner and knew of all of the Golden Fork awards you received so we were very curious. We were unfamiliar with most of the menu options but were very open to trying new entrees. The chef prepares and presents the dishes very deliciously. It was said that you encourage sharing of the plates and we ordered a small, medium and large plate for the two of us. There were only four wontons on the small plate and the prime tenderloin was definitely too small for two people to share but was still around $34. We are not ordinarily "big" eaters but we cleaned our plates and were hungry for dessert. We shared the cheesecake but frankly was shocked at how small it was. It did not appear to even be the size of a full slice. Overall the food was delicious but the portion sizes were too small for the cost in our opinion. Even though you may cater to people as a "high end" quality restaurant I don't think you should sacrifice portion sizes. When you pay $34. for an entree I don't think people in Appleton expect to go away hungry. We definitely want to support local businesses especially because we know they have suffered during the pandemic. Unfortunately several people asked us about our experience at Fress because they have never been there and we told them it was delicious but the portion sizes did not match the prices. We would be happy to try again if you are able to make adjustments to this issue. Thank you.
