We had a passport for a free tasting for a couple. Most places just pour at the bar and call it a day. Not here! The table was set up for us, we were offered inside or back patio seating, and had a choice of tastings. The view was amazing and Tim was so helpful explaining the Estate, the grapes, the story behind them. He seemed really knowledgeable. We also asked about the wine club and Tim was so informative that we joined! The cheese board was amazing, too. Very well put together and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the venue.

Amazing experience. The cheese plate was yummy, tasting room associate (Tim) was attentive, informative and personable! The wine is great hear and we spent 2 hours on the back patio watching the rescue donkeys. It was an overall amazing day!

This was such a nice place for kids to go with parents. There are not very many wineries that are kid friendly, but this place has swings far away in the tree shades do the kids can play soccer while the parents rest, or they can feed the donkeys. They also had delicious wine. I definitely recommend it for families with kids.

Thanks, Reece for a fun and informative visit which ended up with both couples joining the wine club! Enjoyed meeting owner Mike as well. We will have to come back to feed the donkeys later. I'm a passport member and began this year's fun at Hye Meadow. My small group was warmly greeted and promptly seated on the patio, where we enjoyed the beautiful weather. The woman who conducted our tasting was knowledgeable, friendly, and expertly combined professionalism with hospitality. She explained the characteristics of each wine as it was served, and she answered all our questions. We had a wonderful time and will return.

We visited with the Texas Wine Month Passport we had purchased and had a wine tasting but no food. Beautiful setting and excellent & friendly service. Someone started smoking on the patio (bad for the nose in a tasting!) but we informed the waiter who immediately asked the person to leave the patio area if they wanted to smoke. We liked some wines, such as the Junkyard White & Barbera d’Hye, others were OK, the tempranillo was a little rough with a sour note.
