Mike is so friendly! Called us by name when we first entered the restaurant! Suggested a great wine with dinner. Food was delicious!!! Always my favorite place and some of my most favorite people! The steak was beyond words, melt in your mouth exceptional! Micheal and Dionne make the experience personal just like his parents did! It is truly 'family' inclusion at the Vali's and the food never disappoints. I have been coming here since 1974 and it has become my out of town family and friends favorite dining experience and always their request when answering, "What do you want to do while here visiting this trip?' I love introducing people to Vali's because it becomes a best memory for everyone and a repeat on the future travel list! I even have guests who get up at the crack of dawn and add an hour to their day's drive just to go pick up the delicious donuts before hitting the road for home! Vali's Alpine Restaurant has my favorite tastes from Hungary waiting at the counter to take home too - I rarely pass up the opportunity to take home the cserkesz kolbasz (scout sausage) and Hungarian paprika sausage for future charcuterie delights! Everything about our experience was exceptional. Michael and his wife do such an amazing job. The Pork Shnitzel was very good along with the potatoes but the beets for to die for. Top that off with apple strudel and very lovely “Happy Anniversary” written in chocolate made for a great anniversary dinner.
