Nothing needed improvement. All was lovely. Given the horribly hot day, I am delighted we were seated inside. Had a large Bay Salad and an Ice cream parfait for dessert. Lovely day. We will return soon. Thank you.

Very good experience but last two meals I had arrived at the table not as warm as they should be. Maybe need hotter plates or a warming area for meals that are waiting to be served. Otherwise great.

We had a nice Sunday morning breakfast, the weather was overcast so we dined inside in their spacious dining room. The menu was good and reasonably priced, the server was attentive. We like this restaurant as it has a casual feel to it. The outdoor patio is large and has very good views.

Being able to dine with a view of the water is especially nice. The food was very good. The burger was freshly made, not a frozen pre-formed patty, and was really tasty. The only complaint is a minor one. There was no gravy available for the french fries. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.

We really like to bring visiting friends and families here for breakfasts lunches and dinners, as it’s one of the few places in town that can safely accommodate family members with celiac/severe gluten allergy. We were really disappointed when the dedicated GF fryer was removed recently and hope we can return once it’s back or replaced.

We had a lovely evening at Lora Bay Golf Club restaurant. We shared the Burrata appetizer between the three of us, and our son loved the pork belly appetizer, which satisfied him as his main meal. I had a delightful pasta dish. The portions were generous, and the service was pleasant. We always enjoy consistently good meals and friendly accomodating staff.

Would have loved to sit outside but told it was reserved for a golf group. I did notice that they did not take all the tables. We had been told when we arrived that if one became available we could move but it was not mentioned again and it is not easy to move in the middle of a meal. This is a very very small point just a slight disappointment. The meal and service were excellent.

Mmmm... little to relate to on menu. Cobb salad had no meat in it, just bacon crumbles that were too hard. Salad chopped up too much, eggs cut into small pieces, a bit of grated cheddar and a strip of guacamole. Advertised green onion, none on it, Asked for blue cheese dressing , not available. How can a restaurant not have blue cheese dressing. The tiny cut up tomatoes were hard to stab with a fork.
Cases are salad was very good. Cheeseburger very pedestrian, nothing special, not a tasty grilled over fire flavour. Thin meat. Need to expand menu and change it up. As members we are hard pressed to come to use up our minimum because there is little appeal. Not happy. No chicken, no pork ribs or tenderloin, chop, too much pasta. Not good value. Staff is delightful and scenery terrific, love the new furniture.

9 and dine is an excellent way to introduce our Thornbury. Community to the club . People need to understand that it is a package for golf, cart and choice of dinner. Right now there seems to be confusion but just keep the info coming or also send it out to the larger Thornbury population.

The only problem was that once again the room was too loud and we had to be moved outdoors. We could not hear anyone at our table because it was a table of 10 golfers that were talking so loud they ended up moving three dining groups outside because they couldn’t hear themselves. Otherwise food excellent as usual.

A very busy night at the Grill. Many, many post golfers speaking so loudly one could not hear each other. Moved outdoors to beautiful patio. Heater was available.
Mussels were very small, several not open so discarded. Tomatoes in broth were unripe, tasteless and hard. Bits of fries, tasty but shards of potato. Wine brought 20 minutes after ordering. Article char was a very small portion and over cooked as was the asparagus. This menu hasn’t changed all season. Staff works hard to fulfill some dining pleasure. Required to use up food commitment, hard to do as it’s not good quality food.

We really enjoyed our dinner at the Club. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was attentive, and the room is gorgeous! We're so happy that the Club is open on weekends this winter. We're lucky to have this facility right in our neighbourhood.

Our food was ok • the eggs were not hot • my husband had ordered sourdough bread and you it was substituted with white and he would have like a choice in the matter • but mostly we had trouble with the noise level and understanding what our friends were saying. You definitely need to address the acoustics

Wonderful evening on the patio with the new heaters.
The best service staff, always with a big smile even while being short staffed. Amber is an amazing leader and the team rallies behind her!
