Vegivores started off as a street food business back in 2017 selling 100% plant based food to the Reading area.
Over the years we have grown into a restaurant and catering company offering delicious, nutritious and indulgent plant based food for weddings, corporate and casual events.
In 2019 we opened our first restaurant in Caversham, Reading, and in 2024 we are delighted to open our second restaurant in beautiful Bournemouth! We have expanded but we still offer our customers the same standards: that we create all of our recipes, we make all of our dishes from scratch here at the restaurant, our staff are family and we welcome everyone vegan or not to enjoy a meal with us!

Frequently Asked Questions- Is everything vegan?
- Yes, everything on our menu is and always will be 100% vegan.
- Do you accept cash?
- No. We have always been a 100% cashless site and accept cards and contactless payment.
- Can I bring my dog?
- Absolutely! Dogs are extremely welcome in our outdoor seating area.
- Do you sell vouchers?
- Yes, we sell vouchers through our website and these can be redeemed in either of our restaurants.
- Do you have a kid's menu?
- We like to feed our little Vegivore friends the best food possible so practically everything on our menu is adaptable to be child friendly. We have a dedicated kid's menu so just speak to your server and we will get you what you need.
- Can I just come for a drink?
- Of course! We have a wide range of locally roasted coffees and ethically sourced teas (and some sweet treats to accompany them) and are also fully licensed with a range of local craft beers, cocktails, and delicious wines.

The food is amazing, the staff so accommodating and friendly , so I cannot fact the status quo. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to offer more meal options across all the courses, alternatively a “specials” selection. Other than that I will be returning come what may!

We had a fabulous time at Vegivores. My only niggle ( not a complaint as such) is the draught from the door each time a delivery driver came and went. Also the chairs are very hard and need some cushions

We had a lovely meal at Vegivores. All 5 of us had something different for our main meal and we all very much enjoyed our food. Good value for money too. The only let down for me was the banana and walnut cake I had for dessert. It was pretty dry and not something I’d choose again. But it wouldn’t stop me coming again, Vegivores is my favourite local restaurant and I’m not vegan or veggie!

Excellent freshly prepared food, with wonderful flavours and beautifully presented. Unusual exciting food and great choice of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Staff were attentive and caring and relaxed comfortable atmosphere. My friends said it was one of the best meals they had ever had. Definitely my favourite restaurant. Delicious freshly cooked food that I always enjoy. I’m not veggie or vegan but I always enjoy the variety of taste and textures and like the fact I’m usually trying something new. Staff were very friendly and checked up on us throughout our visit. I think prices are slightly on the expensive side, plus a service charge added on, but I guess they reflect the quality of food and service.

The dishes are all made super tasty with bags of flavour, showcasing how delicious and satisfying plant based food can be. The fact the food isn’t processed and bought in ready made, but instead homemade in the kitchen to order is brilliant. The only improvement I would suggest is the chairs are too hard and get uncomfortable so softer seats with cushions would improve this. Overall it’s a fabulous restaurant offering a wonderful menu.

The Macaroni Cheese is really good, except that it's a bit too rich. All 3 of us tried it and thought the same, that diluting whatever makes it so rich with say some Soya Milk would make it even better. The thing is that it really is very good, it just needs a little tweaking in this way.
Plus bringing back the option to have mushrooms with it would help make it excellent.
The vegivores burrito that 2 of us had is great.

The food, service and value were very good. For me, though, because I use hearing aids probably, the noise was a problem. General background noise wasn't too bad but the music with booming bass was intrusive and made it difficult to hear what the serving staff were saying.
