Our experience was amazing, the food was phenominal! I had the new york strip steak and it was like eating fresh air it was so tender!The smell hits you from the off when you arrive! This is our second time we have been back and will 100% be going back on a regular basis. It is so clean, you can see the chef cooking your food. The satff are so nice and they can't do enough for you, always smiling and happy top help. You will not be dissapointed at Lockside steak house!!

It was our second visit and thoroughly enjoyable. Great food and a good service . The only issue maybe worth addressing is the disabled/ baby change toilet needs securing as it is wobbly. Apart from that we couldn't fault our visit and will look forward to visiting again soon .

Having never been before, we absolutely loved the Lockside. When you first enter,it appears very smoky in the atmosphere, however,it is a steak house,so this to be expected and you soon get used to it. The food was absolutely delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. We had three courses and each course was presented beautifully and tasted delicious.Our overall experience was amazing,my only complaint would be....I love lots of chips with my steak. The chips they serve are delicious.. however,chunky chips served in a tiny bucket doesn't fill you up ..... My advice...use the little metal buckets for condiments and put a decent portion of those delicious chips on the plates,.... please!!!!

Went for newyears day with family we all had a very enjoyable experience, i was surprised when ordering my food i was given the options of lamb shank which wasn't on the menu, it was absolutely beautiful infact i couldn't eat it all but definitely recommend to try , other members of my family had alternative food from the menu which they enjoyed, service was excellent, staff all very friendly, will definitely be returning

We had a fab time. My only criticism (and this doesn’t detract from the score) was that when I booked online it asked if it was a special occasion. I said yes as that day was both mine and the other lady in the group’s birthday. This was not mentioned at all, not even a ‘happy birthday’ from the greeter. Now I’m a big girl and not particularly bothered by this but my point is why ask if you are not going to bother with the info. We will definitely be back.

Just been for the Valentines meal…. Never been before, saw it on fb….. absolutely brilliant, steaks cooked to perfection and so tasty, starters were excellent.. would have gone later but it was full….. Only to read later that tables were free as they had some no shows! Why do people do that, yes there is a £10 deposit but obviously not enough. We really enjoyed our time at the Lockside. The steak was cooked beautifully. My son loves burgers and said it was the best he had had. The waitress was lovely and very attentive and checked up on us frequently. Matt, the owner, enquired how we were too, which you dont often get in other places - lovely person and down to earth.
