Travelled an hour and half to try the food there and wasn’t disappointed . The food was 10/10 and the staff were spot on . Service was very good and the fact you get a couple of hours at your table means you can relax and enjoy the food and have a few drinks . I’m glad I made the journey

We had an excellent experience at the Lockside, it was our first Xmas dinner out and probably going to be our next too, from the minute we arrived we felt welcome and comfortable, the food was nothing short of perfect we literally could not fault it, the staff were attentive and swift we would highly recommend

Its the first time ive been to the lockside steakhouse since it opened and let me tell you the food was absolutely delicious i tried the sirloin steak with beef dripping sauce the steak was so tender it melted in the mouth and the sauce was amazing i will definitely be back in the near future

Slight observations, menu could do with a wipe over, container that chips arrive in bit grubby on outside , reduce volume of music slightly as it was difficult to hold a conversation as we were sat below , otherwise a great evening

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a perfect Sunday lunch. The star of the show was undoubtedly the food. The quality of the meat was exceptional, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. It was evident that only the finest cuts were used, and each bite was a testament to the chef's expertise. The accompanying vegetables were fresh and vibrant, adding a delightful crunch and color to the plate. Service was another highlight of our visit. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything was just right, making our celebration feel truly special. I cannot recommend Lockside Steakhouse highly enough. Wow what an experience visiting the LSSH for our 15 year anniversary lunch Elle was exceptional throughout the whole time we were in the restaurant Customer service should go to 20 above not 10. The mixed grill was phenomenal cooked to perfection with proper produce and presented Beautifully on the large plate..I didn't eat all day after it

Our experience was amazing, the food was phenominal! I had the new york strip steak and it was like eating fresh air it was so tender!The smell hits you from the off when you arrive! This is our second time we have been back and will 100% be going back on a regular basis. It is so clean, you can see the chef cooking your food. The satff are so nice and they can't do enough for you, always smiling and happy top help. You will not be dissapointed at Lockside steak house!!

Having never been before, we absolutely loved the Lockside. When you first enter,it appears very smoky in the atmosphere, however,it is a steak house,so this to be expected and you soon get used to it. The food was absolutely delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. We had three courses and each course was presented beautifully and tasted delicious.Our overall experience was amazing,my only complaint would be....I love lots of chips with my steak. The chips they serve are delicious.. however,chunky chips served in a tiny bucket doesn't fill you up ..... My advice...use the little metal buckets for condiments and put a decent portion of those delicious chips on the plates,.... please!!!!

Went for newyears day with family we all had a very enjoyable experience, i was surprised when ordering my food i was given the options of lamb shank which wasn't on the menu, it was absolutely beautiful infact i couldn't eat it all but definitely recommend to try , other members of my family had alternative food from the menu which they enjoyed, service was excellent, staff all very friendly, will definitely be returning

It was our first time at lockside , the food was amazing best steak I’ve ever had . The staff were friendly and helpful . Will definitely recommend it to friends and family x

My partner had a beautiful and succulent steak. I personally think that a colourful salad accompanying it instead of the rocket would make the whole presentation look better. Apart from this personal opinion I thoroughly enjoyed visiting you and will definitely be coming back.

Had cocktails and they went down nicely. Had steaks for main meal…oh my they were divine and extremely delicious followed by dessert. Service was excellent and we would definitely go back again. Overall we had a wonderful time and so relaxing. Thank you Lockside
