We enjoyed a great evening at 3a. Food, drinks, service all excellent. It was “Greek Night” and the mezze plate and chicken gyros were delicious. Great selection of beers and gin. We had a table outside and when it rained heavily Gavin and Claire worked hard to allow us to move inside - thank you! The 3a team all looked after us brilliantly

Only slight niggle was the delay in being acknowledged when we arrived. Just a quick 'we'll be with you shortly' would have worked rather than feeling we were being ignored. Fantastic food and drinks - slightly on the pricy side.

Awful experience. We bookEd to sit in the main lounge but had to go outside as there were no tables available. Many dishes on the menu were unavailable. Food took over an hour to arrive. My daughter ordered to Mediterranean meze, it arrived with no Hallumi. When questioned about the missing Hallumi they said they had ran out. To pass off the dish without one of the main ingredients was really underhand. My daughter left hungry. A busy kitchen is fair enough but when you know it’s going to be busy you should have ordered the correct stock. I hate being deceived, so after you tried to con us, we will never return.

Lovely food, and really great value for money! Delicious coffee and my almond milk latte was the perfect texture and heat (many other coffee shops can’t do Almond milk very well! Here is was spot on) Pleasant staff, excellent clean toilets and I enjoyed the hangry sign in the ladies! Haha

Waited 30 minutes after our order for drinks and the waitress said they had to pop out for apple juice. After ordering our food 20 minutes later a waiter came to us and said no burritos sorry no problem we orderer a halloumi ciabatta and a sausage sandwich. Another 1hr 15min wait and the food turned up and the halloumi ciabatta had no halloumi we asked the waitress and she just said it doesn't come with halloumi today as they had run out!!! So my wife sent it back and had nothing to eat. Horrendous experience.

Thank you so much for a wonderful experience yesterday. It was my mother in law’s 70th birthday, and all the extra touches like the HB message on the reserved table board, the Buck’s Fizz and the candle in her brunch made it extra special! Arrived on time, shown to our table in lovely terrace. Hadn’t had chance to look at menu and asked for drinks order. Unfortunately no soft drink menu available to us and only diet option offered when asked was a type of cola. Took a while for drinks to arrive (it was busy!) however food Arrived prompt. We did ask for starter but all came together which meant very little room on table. And didn’t really get chance to enjoy starter / chat with my friend as was trying to eat the food whilst warm. Food was overall nice but not amazing - again probably because trying to eat so much at once didn’t get chance to enjoy as much as I could. Weather was lovely when arrived and did start to rain, we was lucky as just two of us was offered an area inside where we could finish if what food we had left. So we did appreciate this and thought Claire the owner / chef worked really hard to accommodate everyone and do her cooking aswell. Just felt needed more staff waiting tables to help the flow more. Value for money due to Eat out to help out was very good.

The setting and ambiance is great. The menu choices and quality of food and drink is exceptional. The big let down is the waiting time for food. It took 1 hour 10 mins to get lunch for two, not just at our table but for the 4 other tables around us, and the restaurant was not full, and we were not walk in’s, having booked our table via this app. We counted 6 wait staff, who not once came to apologise for any delay, having been told at ordering that our order would take 40 mins. It felt like there was only 1 person in the kitchen who delivers exceptional food, but needs help. Going for lunch should take less than 1 hour.

Turned up for booking, one of the girls behind the bar was pretty unfriendly, took 15 minutes to take order, then advised that the wait for food was 40 minutes due to walk ins. Couldn't wait - this was booked due to the fact I had time commitments so being sat there at least an hour before even being served lunch was impossible. Wasted journey. I appreciate that companies take walk ins but surely there should be some consideration to customers who book a time slot?!

No 3a has a welcoming friendly atmosphere. The staff always have a smile on their face and are very attentive.
The owners Gavin & Claire go out of their way to make sure everything is fine wether you are just having a coffee on the go or having a private party.
The food is excellent ranging from healthy vegetarian and vegan to incredibly tasting sausages, bacon, salmon and American inspired loaded bagels.
Small touches such as the staff all wearing the 3a logo t-shirts shows a professional approach which is again noted in the running of the business.
With the recent covid issues 3a have taken it in their stride first with take aways and now with a organised booking in system. I noted (though this must be said the staff did this before covid ) that every table was cleaned impeccably before and after being used.
Independent restaurants and coffee shops like 3a are showing their might over chain stores recently and this is purely because they make you feel not only part of the experience but part of the family.

It was busy due to the Eat out to help out scheme, and I appreciated the friendly welcome. We were shown to our table and promptly offered drinks. However two tables were sat down and served for their food before us, resulting in the last of the sausages to go to another customer. My husband and I rarely get to eat out together and he was really looking forward to a Lashfords due to dietary restrictions on the rest of the menu. After feeling rushed to choose, he ordered something he didn't really want or enjoy as much. The waiter was apologetic but more attention is perhaps required when serving tables in the right order. Shame as it left a sour taste in an otherwise pleasurable visit.

Service was very very slow, table booked for 11am and food arrived at 12.40. Two tables who also came in at 11am had finished and left before our food came. Some of the usual ingredients in the house breakfast had also been substituted which had we known we would probably have ordered something else. Must have been an off day as usually food is top notch.

Tables far too close together in the current climate. I couldn’t move without touching the persons chair on the table behind me.
Food took a long while to come. Food was nice once it arrived. My friend had a frangipani tart which was £5.50. Very expensive for a tiny cake.

We sat outside in the courtyard, which had been adapted perfectly for the cold weather. The service was great and our waitress was polite and got us everything we needed. The food was very slow to arrive, but was very nice. Really recommend for a social brunch with friends or family. Looking forward to returning, when we can, to try the evening Greek menu.

Great place, friendly staff and fabulous food but I have yet to go there without some sort of silly mix up with food. Wrong food, missed sides, no food or just really slow are typical. Sort the kitchen muddles out and it would be 10s for everything.
