Always have a wonderful experience at the Waterside. The food is delicious, the staff welcoming and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable - especially considering the excellent quality of produce and the chef's magic! Would definitely recommend.

What an excellent restaurant! Can't believe we hadn't really heard anything about it, despite living so near. The food was delicious and loved the fact that it was sourced locally. Beautifully presented and gorgeous flavours. The staff were lovely too and happy to chat. We will be back and recommending to others! The perfect place for a celebratory meal.

Our first time at Waterside and we certainly weren't disappointed. The food was sublime, the pistachio Bakewell tart was my personal favourite. The portions were a lot more generous than is often the case in this sort of restaurant so no one went hungry! The ambience was very relaxed, not at all pretentious or stuffy. I'm sure we'll be back. We were the only people eating in the restaurant; as a result there was a lack of atmosphere but we enjoyed our visit and will return as the food is so good.

Food quality, variety, presentation and choice was excellent . The tables in the restaurant were laid out in a little too regimented a fashion. Also would have been nice to have some little nibbles or home made bread to start the meal.

Everything was great except the external approach especially the lift which was grubby and had litter on the floor. The pile of objects covered by a tarpaulin outside the restaurant door was not a good look!
