AhhToots first opened in Bristol’s vibrant St Nicholas Market during the summer of 2014 by owner, baker, and cake maker Tam who had a childhood dream to open a tea shop.

Over the years AhhToots became a market favourite among locals and tourists alike with daily offerings of creamy coffees, legendary sausage rolls, daily specials, and a cart loaded with sweet treats for all tastes.

The food were very delicious. Some of the cake were bit too sweet. But the savory were so good. Scones are the best in town. Just a bit pricey, even more expensive than the hotel.

Just the most wonderful place to stop for an afternoon tea. We felt like total VIP's from start to finish. Really special experience having only 4 tables to sit in, so quiet & tucked away. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented & absolutely divine flavours (although we couldn't eat it all!). Great portion size and lovely variety offered. By far the most lovely part of the experience was the lovely staff. You could feel the warmth from them, so caring (but not pushy) and really felt like they genuine cared and enjoyed their job. Really Really special. The only bit if feedback was that i woudl ahve loved another scone! Thank you for giving me & my mam such a beautiful memory together. Will definitely visit again!! We had 'Afternoon Tea' at Toots, using a gift voucher. A marvellous experience, quirky ambience , friendly, helpful service and a delicious selection of savoury and sweet treats. The menu was explained to us in detail and when we realised there was a minor allergy problem with one of the items, a replacement was provided. There were also an unlimited selection of hot and soft drinks. All in all a marvellous experience.

The staff are absolutely delightful, full of smiles and enthusiasm. On top of that, the afternoon tea is incredible. They don't do the traditional boring sandwiches, instead you get something different and incredibly delicious. Thank goodness for takeaway boxes as I'm not sure how anyone could finish all those incredible cakes!

Definitely service with a smile and passion for what you do. This was the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had. My in-laws agreed and they have had so many over the years! World class. Flavours and variety were next level and so delicious. Excellent customer service and a great ambience. We will be back! The only thing we didn’t love was the jam for the scones as we couldn’t taste the berries/fruit which was a shame but that’s all!

What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday afternoon! The place is oldie worldy looking and feels like you're stepping into a shop from a Harry Potter story. Super cosy and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The food selection is just great and everything was absolutely delicious. As someone with a bit more of a savoury tooth, a few extra savoury bits would have been a bonus. All in all, a fantastic selection and great quality, flavoursome treats! Would definitely recommend.

The food is amazing, not to complain about and the staff is kind. Negative points: * the time to be at the table, 1h30 is too little, as there is lots of food the good about th experience is trying it little by little while chatting. Having to eat it in a hurry is non sense. * the music could be something more related to the atmosphere, maybe jazz or classical? It seems it is just playing something random from a playlist.

The food was lovely - quite original and very beautifully presented. The restaurant is very small and dark which some might see as cosy and others as cramped. The service was good -friendly staff - and quick. The table was a bit small and chairs hard - wouldn’t want to sit there for too long. Personally I would prefer a closer balance between savoury and sweet elements. The appetiser of spicy soup and a home-made cheese twist was excellent and unusual. We had the equivalent of one round of sandwiches per person and all were vegetarian. For the price ( £39 a head) it would have been nice to have some choice or at least some meat/fish. We then had a lovely warm scone each (excellent) and a plethora of sweet things. Each one was delicious and in fairness I was the only one who couldn’t eat the lot so took some home in a box. My husband and I both ordered the same tea and were surprised to get two individual cups with a gigantic tea bag each rather than a pot. We did get a pot when we asked for a top up of tea which makes more sense with an afternoon tea where you need a constant intake of liquid! Everyone’s favourite cake was the strawberry choux bun filled with crème patissiere, but the overall standard of all the sweet things was very high. Overall I would recommend it to a friend.

Delicious food but please don't put herbs in the scones. There were some other strange combinations that didn't really work for me like almonds in the lemon drizzle cake. The Guinness chocolate cake was a trip to heaven though. Seating area very small and benches very hard despite cushions. Overall food was delicious and service was very good.

Food and service amazing! The only improvement would have been for a larger table and proper seats as stools not the most comfortable for sitting for a while. However appreciate that this is due to a beautiful old building and lack of space. Only thing to suggest is to make this very clear on booking. The tables and seats would not have been suitable for lots of people.
