Party of two with reservation. When we arrived the restaurant was empty but we were seated at the back next to the kitchen and small corridor area with chairs,
shelves/racks, not a pleasant outlook for the person facing towards that area. Also, to get to the toilets (in the same corridor) you had to squeese past someone cutting strips of pasta. I would suggest some type of screen.
The waitress and service were very good, the dishes on the menu were explained clearly, and service was well timed.
We both found our pasta dish a little too rich. (we had ordered the same).

Lovely place and pasta dishes are gorgeous. We had the Aperol Spritz cocktails which were very watery so steer clear of those unless you’re very thirsty! Overall delicious food but overpriced.

First visit and very positive. Food and service great. Good advice on what to have . Little plates as starters delicious shared one between 2 was enough as a main course too.
One less positive comment the loos could be a bit cleaner and more welcoming and sort out the door handle. Let down the rest of the experience. Would recommend to others despite that!

Great food and atmosphere. Had booked well in advance and said it was a 30th bday. Only allocated 1 hr 30 mins and not warned in advance so slightly disappointed. Meal felt quite rushed for a special occasion with people willing to spend good money on food and drink. No real effort made to make special by staff.

The menu needs to be clear about which dishes are vegetarian (NOT vegan) and which dishes can be made vegetarian.
We would love to go back as a family but our son, who is vegetarian, doesn’t want a repeat experience as he ended up with the vegan pasta which I can vouch was nowhere near as good as the egg pasta

I have followed the journey of Little Hollows Pasta since the beginning so when they opened their own cafe/restaurant it immediately went on my list of ‘Must Go Places to Eat’. My experience massively exceeded my expectations, which were already high. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the decor nicely understated and very relaxing. I ordered the Casaracce with broccoli, fennel sausage, chilli and pecorino for main and it was totally delicious. The sauce was thick and unctuous and clung to the pasta, making every mouthful a delight. The suggested red wine, paired perfectly with the meal too. My tiramisu dessert was tastily decedent and the perfect ending to my meal. You only had to listen to the comments from other diners and to see that every plate going back to the kitchen was empty, to know that everyone else was having the same experience. It is now on my ‘Must Return to Places to Eat’ list.

Pasta is delicious but was let down by being served in cold dishes. The menu was good but a couple of simple salads or veg based starters would be a welcome addition. The real problem was the smell of drains from the basement. We would love to come back but not until that’s resolved.

Ive wanted to try the restaurant since it opened. We managed to get a table for 8:30pm. Sadly the pasta I wanted had sold out, so had the Ravioli instead which was delicious.

6th visit? hehe. Best portion yet and pasta was noticeable hotter than previous visits (which I am all for!). Sad to see the lemon tart go BUT the Panna Cotta was incredible. Very much support your intro of the £ booking deposit but would say 5 hour cancellation leeway is maybe overly generous! 24 hours seems to be most common in Bristol (IMO). Fave restaurant in Bristol - I’ll be back!

Read a rave review and decided to book a table to meet some friends that we hadn’t been out with for a long time. I forgot that one of my friends had a gluten intolerance (my fault). Spoke with the the restaurant a week or so before the booking who said they didn’t offer gluten free pasta but contact them a few days before and they’ll rustle something up. Wrote an email to remind them. Upon our arrival they claimed not to have received the email and that they could only offer what was on the menu. Not a great start. Those of us that could eat the pasta thought it was OK but overpriced. It was a starter size portion (there are no other mains) for £10-£16. Half way through our meal we overheard the waiter tell a nearby table about a special pasta option which we had not been told about. The wine list is limited and we had the last bottle of one of the three red choices. Moved onto a Primitivo priced at £36. That’s a significant mark up on a wine that usually retails at £7-£8, never mind the wholesale price. Be warned, you only have the table for 90 mins, so not a venue for a long convivial catch up particularly when you wait best part of an hour for the mains to arrive. All in all, not somewhere that I will return to or recommend.

I really love the place and the staff are very friendly. I had the vegan options and the starter was lovely! But my main course tasted of nothing. I know it’s difficult with vegan options but flavour is everything. More garlic, pine nuts, maybe whipped cashew cheese. Being in direct competition with places like pasta loco (who don’t even bother doing a vegan option) means hollows can get ahead of them and show ppl they can do all diets justice. I would go back but maybe when the menu changes. I hope this is helpful in some way. Thanks for the experience

Met my friend for lunch at LHP. The restaurant was busy and buzzing with the noise of contented people chatting and eating amazing food. Loved the setting - a beautiful retro bench in one corner; fresh pasta being made in the window by the owner. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Will def be visiting again soon.

We had an amazing meal at Little Hollows, my wife and I love Italy and Italian food, this is the best we have had on this side of the Chanel! Its a lovely little restaurant, the decor is really nice and all the staff were fantastic. It was an absolute bargain too, i'll be recommending it to any pasta lovers I meet :)

One of, if not, the best meals my girlfriend and I have ever had.
The pasta was incredible, as was the mussels and burrata we had for starters, and the cocktails we enjoyed as well.
Staff were all so friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be back in the future.
