When we arrived, no one knew we had booked. It was a busy pub, not a restaurant. The manager said they didn't look at bookings because short of staff. We were not pleased as 7 of us, including 3 children with no other booking on a Saturday night in an unknown city.

Unfortunately we were late arriving due to a series of unforeseen occurrences which were beyond our control and lost the table booking as a result, but we still managed to acquire a table after a while. I really like this pub, I was last there before the pandemic and really wanted to go there again.
