Food was excellent, really fresh flavours, nice spice level, texture of veg proteins was perfect. Would like to see Dahl Makhani on the menu :)
Only improvement is much lower importance to food and service, is that feels a bit like corridor, and pictures on the wall are a bit random, decoration could be improved but don't change the tables, we like the more modern approach.

Lovely staff, service and atmosphere. Couldn't eat any of their "mock meat" dishes as I am allergic to Quorn. Plenty of other options available though. Would love to visit again. Thank you.

Really wonderful lunch at this restaurant. Very fresh delicious food. I will definitely come again for lunch and indeed bring friends for supper. We are a vegan family so we’re very happy to be able to chose anything from the menu with confidence. The manager welcomed us all so warmly and the staff were impeccable.

The food at Vegan India is absolutely delicious and there is so much to choose from which is a treat as most curry houses maybe will have just a couple of vegan options at best. The service was excellent and the restaurant space is very pretty. We will definitely be back! The only small criticism is that we hadn’t realised we were going to be charged for the pickle tray, which we probably wouldn’t have had had this been clearer. Still though it was a great experience and looking forward to coming back!

The food was really good. Beautifully presented and perfectly spiced. We had the Sunday banquet which was amazing value. The extensive menu included curries where you could switch up added options such as mock meat, tofu, chickpeas or aubergine. There is also a reasonably priced bar. We loved the decor and the ambience.

Food and service was brilliant. A great new restaurant for Gloucester Road. It was a little slow to get the bill and only 1 person seemed able to do them but a large party had arrived so perhaps just unlucky timing. Didn’t effect our overall experience which was great just something to consider for the future.

This was a first visit. My wife and I are not vegan but my daughter and boyfriend are. Food and service excellent! If I were to br hypercritical, a touch more spice is required. Don’t be afraid of spice we Brits can take it!

The mock Lamb was spectacular, a mix of mushroom and Soy apparently, the texture was so meat like, excellent. My only gripe was that the onion rice and curry itself were very oily, even though I specifically asked for little to no oil.

Excellent food, we were a table of 5 with some of us being meat eaters.
We all thought our food was delicious and did not miss meat element at all.
Great choice, food, service, and overall value for money.
My only comment (and it’s being picky) would be to have a better Sauvignon blanc as we weren’t keen on either choice. Will definitely return.
