Tried Saucy Griller at Venga on Thursday evening. It was really good. We both had the steak burger one with sweet potatoes fries and the other with regular fries. Also had a small portion of bbq wings. Everything tasted great. Service was excellent and we have already booked to come back next week.

This is undoubtedly the best Sunday Lunch we’ve had. This is the sixth time we have visited Venga for their Spanish Sunday Lunch and it was brilliant as usual! Haven’t been to Venga for a long time so we were really looking forward to coming, and it didn’t disappoint! Delicious food and wine as expected! Would highly recommend the ribs *chefs kiss* very reasonably priced considering the cost of similar cuisine in nearby Bristol and also Clevedon! Lovely atmosphere as well and friendly staff.

Finally got to spend an evening in Venga. The food was good. We would have visited many times before but because we don't live in Portishead we tried phoning, again and again and again and again and again and again and again!! We live too far away to be spontaneous!! When we finally plucked up courage to just turn up, the restaurant was empty. I mentioned thar we had tried ringing on numerous occasions, the staff just smiled and said, the phone never rings. I'd like to go back but do I ring or just not bother??!!

Thanks for visiting. 99% of bookings are placed via the booking system online. We do answer the phone but we are a late night business so the phone is only manned after 5pm. Fabulous Sunday lunch. First visited just before Christmas and was blown away so had to visit again. I’m very fussy when it comes to a Sunday roast (husband produces an excellent one) and the Venga Sunday roast has to be up there as one of even possibly the best.
What can I say the food is delicious, plentiful and parsnips and cauliflower cheese are to die for! We are working our way through the meats after sampling beef and lamb, pork or chicken next time?
If you’ve not tried a Venga Sunday roast then you must.

Wow!! What can I say. Run out of superlatives!! This was simply the best lunch so far Venga. I’ve never had beef that is so, so soft and yet still very pink. No steak knives needed here! And such a huge range of perfectly cooked and seasoned vegetables with a beautiful natural sweetness running through the meal from the small sweet vine tomatoes. Thank you Venga. The new way of presenting the meal really worked. The food stayed hot throughout the meal as we were able to eat our roast dinner, tapas style by serving ourselves from a huge central hot platter. The service and food was great and we had a very enjoyable visit. I would appreciate an option to have a smaller (half)portion of bread, as the racion portion was too large. A tapas size and price option would have been perfect to soak up the delicious juices without any wasted.
