Very very disappointed that there is no refill on pop. Was NOT told that. $30 for pop is a bit crazy!!!! Also was told there was no up charge for something and the charge was on my bill. Chicken fingers were the size of chicken nuggets . $8 for a handful of fries. … Very disappointed.

The band was good and the decor is very nice. Unfortunately, food was not all that good. I had the Ceaser Wrap which was tasteless. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was ok but not great. Our waitress was very good, she was friendly and attentive. Upon arrival they did not have our reservation and I had to show them my text confirmation. They found is a table in the back corner near the dart board. As the night went on we noticed many empty tables throughout the restaurant. Sadly, I doubt we will be back except to get a drink at the bar after golfing.

Hi Marcy, I’m sorry that happened on Saturday. When the weather is bad, and we’re forced to move indoors, we do run into a situation as we have more outside tables than inside. We do have it posted on the website that we can’t guarantee reservations in the event of bad weather, but I understand that you may have not seen the notification when making the reservation. I hope you give us another try, and I apologize for the inconvenience. This is the first time we have been to Diamond Hawk since the change in ownership. We used to be in the Thursdat night womens's golf league years ago. Our experience on Thursday was awesome!!! We played 9 holes of golf and the course was in outstanding condition!! Our bar experience and dining experience was also absolutely outstanding! Friendly staff and patrons, excellent drinks and food and just a great experience overall! We will definately be back! Keep up the great job, Diamond Hawk!!

We had perfect service on April 29th. The waitress, Sophia was excellent!! Everything was really nice. However, our visit on May 13th was completely opposite. We were treated poorly by the "manager" on duty that evening. She was lacking customer service. It took 45 + minutes for a waitress to come take drink orders. A few of us went to the bar to get drinks. It took another 45+ minutes to take our food order and we waited 60+ minutes to get our meals and some orders were not correct. To be fair, the waitress was doing her best, the "manager" told us 20 ppl called in. Another issue was we called weeks in advance to reserve 2 tables when we got to DH on 5/13 we were told the other half of our party will be sitting on the other side of the room. Our 2nd table was given to a couple who "are regulars and that's their table!" The "manager" stated she had to rearrange the seating chart last minute. Any other questions that were asked, the "manager" would not answer she just walked away without answering.

Music was great, but poor acoustics in room made it hard to heat the singers. Food was poor, soggy/rubbery fish fry and underwhelming appetizer wantons. The ambiance lacked an appropriate level of intimacy. The lighting is too bright and the room layout is too wide open, so you kind of feel like you're on display.

The wait staff / kitchen on Friday was much quicker than on previous visits, and I realize what crowds you sometimes have. Our waitress was helpful, going back to get what we needed or trying to get errors from the kitchen corrected. Still could use improvements in kitchen errors (or communication from the order given to the waitress). But better than the last 2 visits, where food ordering and arrival time after ordering was over an hour. I also realize staff is hard to keep these days.

Food is excellent
Have noticed this year, however, excessive music loudness. I don’t know if each band uses their own speakers, or if the Hawk has their own house speakers; we’ve gone to 4 shows this year and both of us have noticed that the music is loud to the point we could barely talk to one another.
Also, it seemed each time, the speakers were muffled and distorted, as though the heavy bass blew them out (yes, I’m a fan of heavy bass!).
Maybe my ears have changed, but we both have noticed it.
But, we really love the place‼️‼️

Love your establishment however the music remains extremely loud. My Apple Watch warned me several times that hearing damage may occur with prolonged exposure. Is there a reason it can’t be lowered? It’s very difficult to talk to your table mates while enjoying dinner. Otherwise we enjoy your place. The food and service is very good as well as the variety of musical acts!

I have been to Diamond Hawk before for other events, and was very excited to bring family with me last Friday with the Duelling Pianos experience… But our experience was terrible. We rarely saw our server, it took her 15 minutes to bring our drinks to us, we placed our food order at 6:30 and we still did not have food at 7:55 PM. An hour and a half is much too long to wait… She kept telling us that the kitchen was backed up but we watched tables all around us who came in after we did, get their food before us . We asked her to check on the status and it took her 10 minutes to get back to us only to say that she didn’t know how long the food was going to be. Just before 8 PM we walked out. We were done. The entertainment was fantastic. I wish I could rate the food, but I never got any… And the service was absolutely horrible. I was embarrassed because I had brought people hoping that they would love your venue as much as we did… I know it was a very busy event and there was a lot of people there, but literally every table around us came in after we did and placed their food orders after we did and they got served in a timely manner. I guess those folks just didn’t have the unfortunate luck to have our server Extremely unimpressed

Very few staff, very unorganized, main meal brought to table,dropped and left, main problem took 5 minutes to get napkins and utensils when assisted by another table, no specials mentioned.
Over all great need for improvement. The meal also lacked as things ordered on menu had to be requested.

I made this reservation online received a confirmation and on the day of our dinner we showed up at the restaurant only to be told that they close the kitchen early that day resulting in our party having to go find another restaurant last minute due to no service provided at all. If their hours are going to change or they were going to close the kitchen the polite thing to do would have been to reach out to people with actual reservationsabd confirmations and give us the courtesy heads up. That never happened. Terribly disappointed!

Brie was our server she was amazing !!! We came for dinner and had all looked at and picked out what we wanted or order from the menu online, however when we arrived we got an "event day " menu as there was a band that evening...I think you should inform your guests making reservations there is a limited menu that evening due to an event, so they are aware in case as we did chose something from menu online. We all had to make new choices....food was good but not what we were hoping to order.
We stayed for the band which they were great (Rock Angel).. Brie took care of us all night and between us and my brother sister in law we spent over $220 as we had 2 checks.
We had never been to Diamondhawk had a good time would come again on a non event evening to order our meal choice so we can try it
Nice touch with the heaters on the patio as it got damp in the grass we moved to the edge of the cement at the end

Pulled pork was the best I ever had. My friend loved the brisket too. Hot cider cocktail was great! Potatoes chips need some work.
Band needs better lighting.
Curtain drawbacks almost stabbed us...get rid of them or put curtains up. Lol.

Great venue for dinner and music, good service. Food was adequate but order was small; wasn’t offered to upgrade to fries. Chips were very crunchy and few on plate. Fish fry another ordered was small in comparison to other places. Fries on that plate were sparse. Pulled pork and brisket sandwiches were good. Potatoes are cheap!

we sat for 45 Min. waiting for a waitress. Then ordered our drinks and food. we never got the drinks or the food we asked the hostess to check whats going on and then she brought us our drinks and checked on our food then the food finally came out. we wanted to have another drink but the waitress never came around so I went to the bar and got my own. We have been there many times and brought friends with us. But I don't think us our or our friends will be back after this.

Hi Philip - This is Don, one of the owners at Diamond Hawk. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We had a private event that ended early evening who added 50 extra people at the last minute, had, by far, the largest crowd we've ever had for a band and had some staffing issues which is why we opened the outdoor bar and hamburger stand to try and accommodate everyone as best as possible. I don't mean to make excuses and I realize it doesn't change your experience. We're going to continue to work to get better and hope you come back and give us a try again. Waited nearly 20 minutes before waitress appeared and that was after my wife having to ask two different people to find our waitress. Was seated at a high top table with the most uncomfortable stools I've ever come across. Was a giant hole that I ended up sitting in and only other stools available were solid metal. When meals first brought out, they brought me the incorrect meal so had to send back and wait another 10 minutes to get proper dinner. Waitress stopped by before my corrected dinner was served and never saw her again until we called her over to get our check nearly 2 hours later. Never asked if dessert was wanted.
Place is way TOO LOUD! That is even before the band started. Had other people decide to come over and leave their empty drink glasses on our table which I found way too tacky for my liking!

This was our first time having dinner inside with a live band. It’s was great.
We did have a negative experience earlier in the year, on a Wednesday, where we had to leave before eating because the music was way too loud. Hostess even made a comment to us that other people were complaining.

Nice job by all. Table was wonderful, right up by the band. Our server was efficient and pleasant despite working very hard taking care of many tables. Would like to see fries be included with the burger as opposed to having to upgrade.
