The food and service are first rate. We sat on the patio out back, and enjoyed the fresh air and temperature - timing is everything. It took a few minutes to be greeted as you must wait out front and no one was assigned to the front door. Not a big deal as we are all having to be more flexible right now. Bottom line: I will return to have brunch here when I return to Charleston.

My daughter and I love fondue. We were pleasantly surprised by the wait staff, service, food and atmosphere. We felt safe inside with the front and back doors open. Loved the chocolate fondue but could you add possibly cubes of pound cake, banana, strawberry, or marshmallows along with the pineapple, melon and grapes we enjoyed there. Those with a real sweet tooth would appreciate that addition. But really, we loved what we had. Thanks so much for the experience. We thought the other items on the menu looked appetizing, as well.

This is an excellent cafe and a Charleston staple. They have done a wonderful job meeting CDC guidelines and keeping everyone safe during COVID. The back patio is perfect and a lovely setting for an afternoon lunch or early dinner. Everything from the brie croissant, cool cucumber soup, and the cheesecake with a fresh French Press coffee was exceptional. Highly recommend!
