we still haven't taken the dinner train due to the covid virus. We are hoping to take the train this spring.
What a great experience! John is the consummate host and the venue was simply amazing. Great food, great wine, great atmosphere and great fun! We will definitely do this again and recommend to friends:) Regan
We anticipated our first time visit would be the highlight of our anniversaries. We were NOT disappointed!! The service, food, and ambiance were superb. We will return!
John, Thank you again for a lovely evening! Wine, food, ambiance, the gentle rolling of the train and YOU made our experience fabulous! Highly recommend for date night.
This was our first experience on the Wine Train and we plan on making it a tradition. We loved everything about it and the people putting everything together were amazing.
Food was good, but need a different type of green beans (tasted tinny). Salmon was just okay. Everything else was wonderful. We thoroghly enjoyed the experience. Thank you.
We had an amazing time. Will do it again
We absolutely loved this experience! The train was beautifully restored. The staff were very knowledgeable about the history of the train. The table settings were adorable. The wines were very good choices. And the food was delicious. John did a terrific hob! And we really enjoyed talking to Bob. He was entertaining with his train knowledge. The service was above and beyond what we expected. We would love to take this trip again in the future!
Loved the servers and enjoyed when they came around and talked to us about their railway experience
The entire experience was superb!
Our party of six have not stopped talking about the experience. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The food was 5 star and the atmosphere was delightful. The wine pairing was on par with Napa or any of the finer Wineries. We highly recommend the Wine Train to you and all of our friends. We will be back!
We had a fantastic time. Everyone was so nice just wish we had the full experience unfortunately the track was being worked on so we went back and forth. Still will go again
Such a wonderful time. We had three tables for our family reunion and we had a blast!
Staff and host were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Very professional wait staff. Food and wines were great. Ambiance was a little less that it could be since music was not live.
Great experience all around. We will be booking again in the near future.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. It was really neat. The food could have been better. The soup tasted like tomato water, not bisque. The green beans were not fresh. The dessert was not homemade. The wine was excellent!!!! I own a bakery in Nashville so I picked up on these things. Details matter and homemade (from a good cook!!) is always the best way to go!!!!
We loved the Pullman car we got to ride in! So much history, and so well preserved! The food was good, and the wine selections were good as well. Our server was most excellent!! Well worth the time and money spent.
The food was excellent. Our waiter would not come to our table and was a little rude. It was a neat experience. For over 350 and requesting (paying) the higher fee, we were put in the end with less ambiance...so I would verify which car you will be in. I would give it a 10 if not for those two items. Best part was unique ness and food. Improvements would be staff and uniform seating. The wine was delicious (when the waiter would come pour) I had 2 glasses :/
The service was great. The meal was just ok. I believe there is better scenery around Chattanooga than we saw on our wine train route.
