What a lovely place. Food delicious, reasonably priced, great location. Can walk to cafe along the canal from New Mills or Bugsworth basin, or short walk from Furness Vale Station. Plenty of free parking at cafe. Will definitely be returning

We LOVED it!! food was delicious and the wine was the best I have ever tasted in a restaurant.... we will defo be back.
If I were to make a small criticism it would be that my clothes smelt of the food when we left - but not a fault of theirs, its just the nature of the beast in a small space. Its not put us off!

The only downside was it was brunch menu until 4pm.

We booked last minute to eat in. We love the quirkiness of the decor. The adult food was good. Our child had the chicken meal but he wasn't keen on the chicken (we tasted and it had an odd taste and seemed dry) The surf and turf loaded fries and peri peri chicken wraps were lovely. We feel it is a tad on the expensive side but the food is tasty. Our only recommendation is to be mindful of the music playing in the background as we sat through a song with explicit lyrics which wasn't ideal with a 5 year old child present (luckily he didn't pick up on it as he was busy) The server was really friendly and pleasant. We did find it difficult to eat from a lower table and sofa too so for those seated with children a full height table and chairs would be a better option. We do love the uniqueness of the setting and the food is mostly good.
