We are a small cosy restaurant serving freshly cooked Italian small plate dishes. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions, although please note for serious allergies or intolerances please call before booking eg coeliac, nut allergy etc. In all cases please speak to your server if you have any allergies or concerns.

A £10 Deposit is required to secure your booking. When entering your payment details, please ensure you enter the postcode where the card is registered otherwise the payment will not go through. Deposit is non refundable unless 24 hours notice of cancellation/amendment is given. Managers discretion will apply to any amendments to your booking within 24 hours of reservation. Amazing food and evening! We love it there. Small, cozy restaurant with lovely food. As the food comes out “as it’s done” it gives you more time to chat and share the food and experience.

As always we had a superb evening with Lorenzo, Lee and George. We were entertaining guests from York. They loved the food and had “one of the best night’s ever - so much fun “ in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Artisan. The choice of small plates was interesting in itself, covering 3 contrasting cuisines. Each dish was hand cooked to perfection. There might have been room for more vegetarian choices and the prices reflected inflationary pressures, but not such as to put us off going again. And the pre-meal cocktails were delicious. Thanks for a great evening.

Lovely food with an excellent range of options. Excellent service with great personality. Tables a little small especially if ordering a few dishes from the tapas menu - ran out of table space. Dishes come out when ready which is not a problem if dining tapas style but if going for more of a traditional starter and main course type of meal it can seem a little disjointed. However we would definitely visit again and probably all order from the tapas menu to sample more of the lovely choices and be able to share more.

Food was especialy nice but all served up too quickly which was disapointing. Waitress advised my wife and I to order 2 to 3 dishes each which we did allong with a Garlic bread starter but they all arrived at the same time, garlic bread starter was about the 4th dish placed on the table ? in a Tapas bar we would have normally odered a starter and 1 dish each to start with and then taken it nice and slowly from there. As it was we got to open our bottle of wine whilst eating desert ? Artizan Greeen acctually lost the sale of another £26 bottle of wine due to the fact that my wife and I would normally have a bottle each with a nice relaxing meal.

I fully understand the concept of tapas, however one of our party was sat waiting nearly 30 minutes for her last dish to arrive (this was after all the other’s last tapas had been served) slightly awkward when the rest of the us had finished eating and she was left to eat alone.
