We are a small cosy restaurant serving freshly cooked Italian small plate dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Artisan. The choice of small plates was interesting in itself, covering 3 contrasting cuisines. Each dish was hand cooked to perfection. There might have been room for more vegetarian choices and the prices reflected inflationary pressures, but not such as to put us off going again. And the pre-meal cocktails were delicious. Thanks for a great evening.

Food was especialy nice but all served up too quickly which was disapointing.
Waitress advised my wife and I to order 2 to 3 dishes each which we did allong with a Garlic bread starter but they all arrived at the same time, garlic bread starter was about the 4th dish placed on the table ?
in a Tapas bar we would have normally odered a starter and 1 dish each to start with and then taken it nice and slowly from there.
As it was we got to open our bottle of wine whilst eating desert ?
Artizan Greeen acctually lost the sale of another £26 bottle of wine due to the fact that my wife and I would normally have a bottle each with a nice relaxing meal.

I fully understand the concept of tapas, however one of our party was sat waiting nearly 30 minutes for her last dish to arrive (this was after all the other’s last tapas had been served) slightly awkward when the rest of the us had finished eating and she was left to eat alone.
