Brilliant the only reason for the lower score on ambience is due to us being sat in the window below a heater and it was a little warm. However we could have asked for this to be turned off just did not want to affect the rest of the restaurant. Lovely food and service though.

Potyo was a real revelation, we are all used to traditional high street Asian food. The food at Potyo while being thoroughly authentic was markedly different. The exquisite flavours of two previously unknown curries led us to the conclusion that this was the best Asian food we have tasted in many years of eating and cooking Indian food. The chef’s ability to combine spices and cook meats that, while remaining tender, absorb the deliciousness of properly executed recipes. Sadly we live 200 miles away in Scotland. We will be planning further trips to enjoy Wilmslow and especially the delights of Potyo. If you haven’t been you have a delight in store, if you are a regular you are very fortunate.

My friend and I had a really lovely time at Potyo. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations... Our server was chatty as well as charming and very knowledgeable about the menu. I have to be a bit careful around spices and he was more than happy to explain the various options. He also gave us the best piece of advice - have some chips! The only 'improvement' I could suggest (and this is on behalf of my friend) is to make sure the aircon is really necessary. The weather was already cool last Friday and it was a bit fierce :) Other than that - 10/10!

Fabulous food; we had the sharing platters, squid, nibbles, fish, prawn and two chicken curries, the breads and the butter chicken kids meal, amazing quantity and quality!! Even out 7 year old guest said it was delicious and when can we go back. Our server was lovely too, patiently explained all the food and attentive to all our needs. Can’t wait to come back!

We were a party of four and all had a three course meal. The food was amazing and the people are lovely. It was 50% off the food bill during January, so excellent value. The only thing we didn't like, was the cold draught from the front door even though there was a curtain covering the door, it was still quite chilly. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and Chai tea. Everything was perfect. The reason for a low ambience score was only as we sat near the entrance door on one of the very cold evenings and we were getting really cold. Maybe make sure the door has a better self closing mechanism? We will come again though as the food is really delicious and flavoursome.
