Alarmist Brewing has been making beer since 2015. The taproom has been open since 2017. Winner of the 2018 GABF and first ever Gold Medal Winner for Hazy/Juicy IPA for Le Jus as well as 2020 GABF Bronze Medal Winner for American Style Pale Ale for Pantsless. We have a small amount of wine and cocktails available. We do not have food/snacks. Please feel free to bring in whatever outside food/non-alcoholic beverages you would like. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leash & by you at all times. Please consider how your dog interacts with other dogs as there maybe multiple dogs in the taproom at the same time. Children are welcome, but must be seated at your table at all times. No bar seating.

This is my favorite brewery in Chicago. The beer is well made and balanced, the staff is AMAZING. They're genuinely great people, and knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and truly care about their customers. Great ambiance, large open space, and they are incredibly supportive of their community.

Cool little neighborhood spot. Beers are on point! Really good showing of some lager beers, which is nice when so many other breweries in Chicago insist on only brewing ales. Picked up a couple of 4 packs to take home with us. Will keep coming back.

It didn’t feel like the taproom was ready to be opened just yet. Having to place your own glasses in the bin was a bit much. Also a different table to pick up beer. Felt weird. Rushed with time. Understandable as the process is new.
