Tinto & Tapas was created out of a pure passion for flavorful food. We aren't just talking about seasoning and spices either. You see, our dream is to create the most mouth-watering and tempting tapas-style fare - all while considering the highest-quality ingredients. From the Chef Cooking is my passion and you’ll find me each evening at a workstation in the kitchen. It’s an intimate space so I can oversee each meal before it leaves for your table. My signature is fish with an Asian flare. Not something you’d expect on a country inn’s menu. But by combining local and exotic ingredients I can create flavors that contrast and compliment … and excite your palate. From our appetizers to desserts, I hope you’ll savor every bite … and at meal’s end, wish you had room for more.

The Hyderabadi biryani developed under the rule of Asaf Jah I, who had been appointed as the Governor of Deccan by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. It is made with basmati rice, spices and goat. Popular variations use chicken instead of goat. There are various forms of Hyderabadi Biryani. One such Biryani is the kachay gosht ki biryani or the dum biryani, where the mutton is marinated and cooked along with the rice. It is left on slow fire or dum for a fragrant and aromatic flavor.
