Der Heisse Stein is a unique place. Enjoyed having my salmon served on a heisse stein, was a first for me and delicious as well. The history of the historical home was very interesting. A True Gem!

Awesome service beginning to end at the 'Stein! We enjoyed every aspect of our visit, drinks, food, service, owners were all great! Look look forward to going back soon, in the sprint / summer to enjoy all the outdoor areas they offer. Really fun to drink from the horns, and grill on the stones. Our large group was treated great and had a really fun time!

Very cool place, built in the 1800’s. The owners and staff were attentive and efficient. Even though they were busy , they gave us a tour of the unique rooms as well as history of the building. Food came out hot and tasty. Very authentic German menu, all the way down to their homemade German desserts. Superb!

We had a great meal and great service. Our server was very friendly and helpful (it was our first time there). The food was amazing. My only suggestion would be to lower the lights. I feel like it could make the setting a little more intimate since the rooms are a little small and tables are a little close together. We will be back!

Second time dining here. Only regret is we weren't told about the dinner items that were not on the menu. We learned about them when another table was seated and their server went over them. Not sure it would have impacted my choices, but would have been nice to know. Otherwise our server was very good. Food was very good. The desserts, apple strudel and cinnamon crumb cakes were excellent. Overall another nice evening dining out.

We are frequent patrons of Der Heisse Stein. Love the food, and German influence and the restored home, interior, and the biergarten is wonderful. I am rating low on service, not to reflect on Justice, she did her best but was only server and was obviously overwhelmed to try to serve a party of 9 timely. This is 2nd time we have visited and had really slow service. Wont keep us from returning.

When one person is getting a hot stone meal they should be served first not last as they have to “cook” their meal, not last…. I’m sure you are short staffed like everywhere but we didn’t see our server regularly

We were with a party of 10. The people that didn’t order a hot stone were served their food too early. It would have been nice to have their food and the sides that went with the hot stone entree served at the same time. They were about done with their meals before our stones came and by then, our sides were cold.
We will be back, the food was good and a beautiful atmosphere.
