Our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our recent Premium tour. Our guide (sorry we can’t remember her name) was brilliant, well informed and friendly, she made the tour relaxed and enjoyable. The setting for the tasting was fantastic with breathtaking views across the valley and vineyards. The food provided was excellent and plentiful. The wine was excellent and we ended up buying several bottles, which we managed to get home in one piece. We have been to Cephalonia several times but not visited the winery, we would highly recommend a visit.

Vickie at Orealios Gaea was an exceptional host. She made sure that our experience was pleasant and informative-even with an energetic toddler running around. In fact, Vickie and her team made sure my toddler enjoyed the visit as well, letting them pick a grape, pmay with toys on site, and participate in the tasting with juice boxes. My family throughly enjoyed out visit.

They have a very good concept for their wine tasting: each glass is numbered, and a printed sheet provides detailed descriptions of the wines. The wines themselves are of good quality, and the selection is excellent. However, the service could be improved. They served three glasses first and then the remaining three later, but the second set was brought out in the middle of tasting the first three, without giving me enough time to finish them at my own pace. Additionally, although they offer two food options, no one asked us what we would like to order. Finally, despite trying three different tasting sets and purchasing wine to take home, there was no small gesture, gift, or token of appreciation—something that many other wineries in Greece typically provide and that adds a nice touch to the overall experience.
