Absolutely wonderful experience. We booked for 6 of us at 6pm. Our conference finished earlier and we arrived early. The lady on the desk was so welcoming and greeted us well. Food was excellent and would definitely go back.

We thought the restaurant might be busy as it was Mothers Day, and were a little concerned there may have been delays, however I could not believe only 2 tables were taken, although the delivery service seemed to be busy. Having said that service was efficient and cheerful, food and drink was to their usual high standard, and so the virtual empty room was not at all depressing. I have been to this restaurant too few times since my first visit on their opening day 20 odd years ago, but will try and visit more often in the future

Sadly, after travelling a 35 mile round trip, the Restaurant was closed, with just a hand written note on the door saying they were not open. An email or phone call would have been nice to inform me of this before travelling the 35 miles for no meal.

Good food, friendly, Attentive staff, without being overbearing. Going back September 11 for my birthday. Would love for the seafood platter to be a main. The squid in the platter was brilliant perhaps that could be a main as well. Perhaps with king prawn? All in all really enjoyed it. In these covid times also felt safe

We booked this by phone and were slightly concerned when we arrived as it looked as it could do with a lick of paint. However, in no way did this affect the quality inside. The staff were delightful, menu was extensive, very reasonably priced and there was a good ambience. The food was delicious - all greatly impressive. I would certajnly highly recommend.

Being a regular visitor to the Himalayan Spice I was not surprised when we received the normal high standards that this restaurant sets itself. This occasion was to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday with a party of 9 spread out over 2 tables to maintain social distancing. The staff made us most welcome and assisted us when ordering food which was of the highest standards. Great night had by all and strongly recommended.

Food had lovely flavours. We thoroughly enjoyed it,lots of veg choice but the dessert was not good at all.icecream had ice in it. Top layer was ice too. Papaya pieces were not real ,just dry papaya. Kulfi was not creamy just ice. That was very disappointing.

Excellent meal - the chef clearly takes pride in the cooking and presentation of the dishes. The curries were cooked beautifully. The lamb in my dish was spot on, not overcooked as lamb can be but tender and pulled apart easily. The balance of spices was just right. The accompanying naan bread was light and tasty. We came on a wet Sunday night and unfortunately the place was a little quiet on diners. It doesn’t deserve to be. Well done - we look forward to our return visit.

I went to the Himalayan Spice with great anticipation after seeing it had recently won England's 'best curry house' in 2022. I was unfortunately, very underwhelmed. The ambience and decor is not trying to be modern but does not really deliver; the service was very average (the young man serving didn't really know much about the menu items) and no one really paid us any attention other than serving food and drinks; and the food itself was nice and tasty but nothing special. I have been to loads of better places but maybe for Liskeard, this is excellent??
