Fantastic food, very friendly staff. Allowed us 3 hours which on a rainy afternoon was very welcome as we could take our time. Great table by the window which our dog also enjoyed. Only downside was there was no vegetarian option for the Sunday lunch (an oversight apparently) although there was another option (curry). My wife took up the option of just having the veg and trimmings for a much reduced price

Had to find the server to place order, as she disappeared after giving us our menu and didn't return. Food was lovely. I had said on booking that it was for my husband's 60th, but there was no acknowledgement and lady that took our plates after was a bit dismissive when we were saying how much we enjoyed the meal but hey ho. Would go back as the food was so good

We had reserved a table and when we arrived it was waiting for us with our name on and the high chair we had ordered (perfect).

This was our 2nd visit of which we really enjoyed! Great seat by the windows with a view of the stream. Friendly staff and accommodating to the dietry needs of one of us. Very nice quality Sunday and value for money. Only request: that the veg be cooked a bit more. They were Very al dente! Would recommend and look forward to going again.

We have been to the kings arms twice for Sunday lunch and it was delicious. The roast beef was melt in the mouth and the Yorkshire puddings are enormous. Great service and surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

2nd visit for Sunday lunch, accommodated us earlier than booked which was great - very busy and it showed, drink took longer than it should but waitress was apologetic and it was fine - no starter for my children which was garlic bread which was described as being a large portion so that would have been ideal for my two children, Came back to say they had none so went with the fish bites and ordered our roast dinners we all had beef. The starters came soup very good - pepper pot good but could have been hotter and then the fish bites portion was small, 3 on the plate and these wee priced at £8.95 not good value at all when you consider that the dinners were two for £25. Dinners came, could have been hotter with more veg but you cant knock the taste they are so good!! Overcharged us as they hadn't done the two for £25 offer but were apologetic when my husband went back in to tell them. Just wish they would get it right because it is so good but needs attention and the cost of the starters is really over priced we wouldn't make that mistake again.
