My partner and I had a fantastic time at Cask & Kitchen, I've been a few times before but this was his first time, he told me afterwards it was the best chicken burger he's ever had! The atmosphere was calm and ambient, the music was at a volume where you could hear it but didn't have to shout to be heard, our waiting staff were so attentive and really knew the menu when we had questions about it, we were made to feel welcome and we shall definitely be returning for some more delicious food!

The food was unbelievably good! Only a small place so wasn’t expecting such great quality. The chef/owner made something up for me which wasn’t exactly on the menu but was happy to help. He also made us a sharing platter but for one person. He was amazing and it was great quality for money. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.

Was a lovely atmosphere but we were let down by the food. The rib of beef was tough, the children’s mac n cheese wasn’t able to be eaten as very dry. When the ketchup etc came they hadn’t checked the jars, they were empty and had to ask to have them refilled. For a family of 4 we felt the tables were small and had to put our drinks on the floor for space.

Food tasted pretty fresh and nice quality. Felt the menu could’ve had a bit more imagination, quite a lot of the choices are similar. The sharing chilli board was really nice. Perhaps some lighter options not including chips/chicken wings or meat. Also thought the drinks selection could’ve been better. No cocktail list.

Delicious food and massive portions however waiting staff seemed inexperienced, spent a lot of time on their phones and taking selfies, also interpreted our eating and prematurely took our plates, this occurred twice and on the second time they took food that we were still eating but we were too shocked to say anything at the time, it’s a shame because the food was amazing just let down by front staff which has put us off from returning
