T.E. Alderman's being 100% gluten free is a dream come true! I drove over half an hour to get there I was so excited! I was blown away by how delicious everything was! I hadn't had good biscuits for YEARS and when I took a bite of the biscuits and gravy I ordered, I nearly cried from happiness! Their cinnamon rolls are also amazing. My partner is not gluten free and even he was blown away by how good the food was! The employees were very friendly and kept checking in on us. We went during their first ever brunch service so it was a bit slower than usual. We didn't mind at all, but really appreciated our server consistently checking in on us to make sure we are doing well and to give us updates on our food. The building and inside space are gorgeous, too! The interior is currently decorated for the holidays and looks like a winter wonderland! Overall, I'd have to give T.E. Alderman's a 20/10, that's how good it is. I will definitely be returning many times in the future!

Loved the peach cheesecake and the potato wedges
Tried my husbands Mac and cheese and yum!
I love that there is somewhere I can go to eat that feels safe! Such great options I’m excited to try!
Rolls and pretzels were kind of hard, making it a little tough to eat, not sure if it’s just from being on a warmer or being made ahead. We also couldn’t order what we wanted bc many things were out. But all the more reason to come back again!!!! I plan to be a regular ;)

The service was the largest downside. You guys were out or low on most items today, the server didn’t seam to be able to answer any questions without asking, part of our order got forgotten and came later once we communicated that. Our reservation was at 10 and it took a long while til we got our order taken and I don’t think we got food til approaching 11am.
The food was delicious and the menu perfect given my sister being celiac. Ambiance was great as well. I would return.

My friend and I were welcomed right when we entered your beautiful restaurant and shown to our table. We had a few questions about the menu, but our waitress replied that this was only her second day and didn't know everything yet. Our salads and soup cup arrived in good time, long enough for us to admire the surroundings. The butternut squash soup had excellent flavor, but it would have been much better if hotter and perhaps not nearly as thick. (And when I saw a photo of the soup on your Facebook page the soup had a drizzle of cream and a couple of little toasted twists or chip on top).
Our salads were fine, excellent chunky chicken on top and house croutons, tasty raspberry vinieggrate dressing (that in my opinion could be thinner too so it would pour over more easily. )
Since we were celebrating my friend's birthday we chose the cookies and cream cheesecake to share. It would have been really nice to have had a clean knife and fork to eat our dessert....our waitress did bring a clean knife when I asked. The waitress did bring delicious coffee when we asked if you had it. (It's not on the menu that we could see). The dessert was delicious, unlike any cheesecake we'd ever had....couldn't really taste "cheesecake".I apologize for being rather picky, but I REALLY want TE Alderman restaurant to do well. If your customers are going to spend $80 for lunch (with 20% tip) perhaps the extra details might be worth it. In conclusion, we left feeling full and that we'd enjoyed our meal and experience at TE Alderman's.

Loved the whole experience! A GF restaurant has been so needed in this area. My only comments would be about the food, and I know my opinion could be much different than anyone else. The dinner rolls were good but dry, would be better with butter. The hot beef sundae was good but my husband said he "couldn't find" the mashed potatoes. My chicken and noodles also had mp and I think they were just more runny than we are used to. Cheesecake was AMAZING! I wish you MUCH success!!!

The food was delicious! I had a burger & wedges. My only suggestion would be to have the option for regular buns. I'm assuming the burger bun was gluten free. The taste was great, but since it's so dense it fell apart while trying to eat the burger. The group I was with all had sandwiches of some kind and had the same experience & remark on the buns.

With it being a soft open, I feel bad giving rankings less than the best because I know everyone is still learning! Biggest issues were not getting refills on my drink and the time it took to get my check/pay for my meal. But again, I know everyone is learning so I definitely don’t want to come across negatively! Appreciate you all and excited to be back!

Service declined from previous visit. Food declined as well, which I was disappointed in. The food was phenomenal on the previous visit! All employees looked like they weren't happy to be there. Food sat at the cook station for too long before it was served. Had to ask for water refill. Looks like too much effort ($) is going into the fluff (pleather bound menus) . I'm there for the food (i'm celiac).

Beyond grateful for a fully gluten free restaurant. While there were only 2 other people n the restaurant we were seated right next to another family vs leaving a table gap. Ww were not greeted when we walked into the restaurant. The staff were pleasant just not professional. As gluten free restaurant the one thing most guest are going to want is carb items as that is what we can't eat elsewhere. The rolls were out. The appetizer came out the same time as our food. Need to space things out more.

I patronized TE Alderman's on their 2nd full day of business, so I know there will be some growing pains, and I know it's construction/remodel has just finished.
There are a lot of hard edges and I imagine with a full house it will get very loud. I was hoping for a quiet restaurant. Time will tell.
The first thing we noticed was the general cleanliness. There were dust bunnies and quite a bit of dust along the baseboards. The early evening sun very much illuminated the amount of dust as well as how dirty the front windows were. Anytime I see these signs I wonder how clean is the kitchen. Everything else; however, seemed very clean.
I ordered pork medallions and mashed potatoes. The pork was tough and a little bland. I used salt to wake it up. The mashed potatoes had a nice potato flavor, but were over-buttered. The texture was that of instant potatoes, not good.
My wife ordered the tomato basil soup, cod, and potato wedges. The soup was amazing. The potato wedges were quite like shoe leather. The cod? Well, I think one should temper their expectations for seafood in the Midwest. It was okay.
For desert we shared the peach cobbler cheesecake with was delicious!
I really want to see this place succeed! I will try it again soon to see if any of the kinks have been worked out.

Looking forward to returning and seeing you all find your feet a bit more! Service was great and ambience will likely be at a 10 once last projects are wrapped up. Some food items were great, like dessert, soup, pot roast salad, but a few items left some room for improvement-- buns on sandwiches were a bit heavy, maybe gluten free? Clarity on those options would be great. Tenderloin was underseasoned and the breading on it a bit heavy and a bit soggy. Would have loved the potatoes to be crisp as well. A couple of the menu fonts were a bit difficult to read due to the font and size. Overall we still had a great time and we are looking forward to more! Happy to have you all here in our community!
