A great experience all round Food loved by all in our party of 4. Smashing service and price excellent..but have to say we really didn't like the suffocating plastic fernery, giving jungle vibes....what was lurking in there? Having said that, I am about to book again for a party of 5 in a few weeks time...Look forward to seeing you x

Definitely a must-visit venue if you value excellent food, a warm and tasteful environment and friendly and efficient service. Be prepared to wait while your food is prepared and cooked. It'll be well worth it. I'll certainly be going back. Competitively priced beautifully presented and superbly balanced dishes. Brilliant experience.

This is the second time I have eaten here and I wasn't disappointed. The food and service was excellent. After eating we sat downstairs in the newly decorated bar, which had a lovely atmosphere. The music wasn't too loud which enabled us to talk and relax after eating.

Had a lovely meal, mussel sauce was exceptional. Service was great. Although the starters were large they seemed a little overpriced as was a couple of the mains. Just a little point, when booking I was unsure as to whether claytons or the glasshouse was most appropriate but having seen large groups go upstairs I think I was lucky as I had brought my 83 Yr old Mother. Would definately recommend.

Wow! Food was amazing, the best vegan Thai curry I’ve had in ages, the chef was most definitely not afraid of spices! Clayton’s have now set the standard for Thai curry in my book. My husband had the pork belly and was equally impressed. Lovely venue, fantastic food, looking forward to going again and would highly recommend.

Booked table online. Greeted and taken to table in Glasshouse section. Drinks order taken and dish of the day explained. Time given to choose from a great choice of menu and orders taken. Did not have to wait long for food to be served. Lovely and hot. Very well present and all our meals where delicious. Good choice of sweets. Did not feel rushed. Lovely sweets very enjoyable. The food and service were both excellent. Not the cheapest menu but worth every penny. I ordered a fish dish off the Specials Menu after asking for advice, when the dish arrived it looked and tasted really good.

We booked in the glasshouse to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary. A friendly welcome as we entered and shown quickly to our table. The staff were very attentive with time to spend with us. A great surprise was a complementary drink for our anniversary. The food was delicious and presented well. We were able to compliment the chef on the quality of the food. Thanks to all the staff for a great night.

Four of us enjoyed our ‘mains’ from a very attractive range of dishes. We were slightly disappointed by the dessert options; nice enough but not anything to persuade us to indulge. Overall though somewhere we would be very happy to visit again.

We both had a fantastic dining experience at Claytons. The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious and the entire night was second to none. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely visit again and would recommend to everyone
