Nestling in the charming town of Honiton, lies the beautifully thatched Heathfield Inn, a traditionally Devon run house dating from the 16th century and previously an old farmhouse known as ‘The Barn’.
The authentic interiors ooze character with timber frames, low beamed ceilings, pine cladding, whitewashed walls and a huge roaring log fire.

Lunchtime menu good. Generous portions of very tasty food. Good service (with a smile) Restaurant very quiet but being Tuesday rather expected, however we shall be returning regularly (locals) & will be recommending pub to our friends.

Just found this little gem as a meeting place half way between Cornwall and Wiltshire, to catch up and meet with family. Will definitely go back cannot fault anything, well done.

The lovely friendly staff were very warm and welcoming.
The service was very good and attentive and professional. We felt valued.
The food was very delicious and hot, and very generous portions.

Disabled toilet facilities inadequate. It is labelled Gents when it should be unisex. The toilet itself is not a disabled toilet, it is too low. Hand rails should be fitted where there are steps to negotiate. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience and will come again.
