We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there - we were made very welcome and given a table by the fire which we fully appreciated on a cold day - the food was great -as was the service by the friendly staff-we thoroughly recommend the King's Arms at Tamerton Foliot.

Really enjoyed the experience of Sunday lunch in The Kings Arms for my birthday. I loved the delicious gluten free bread and the fact that the chef was willing to cook the gluten free Yorkshire puddings we had brought and served these alongside the lovely roast we enjoyed. Loved the relaxed ambience and real fire on a stormy day!

The table was right next to the speaker and the music was fairly loud. The food was delicious however not much available for younger guests. I asked for chips which they aren’t able to do on a Sunday. I appreciate this however seeing as there were 5 main meals being ordered I didn’t think it was totally unreasonable to request a bowl of chips. We asked for more veg and they politely accepted and brought more. Overall very tasty and good atmosphere.

We had a very nice dinner and drinks in this friendly pub with great service.
The belly pork main and the fruit crumble were both very good.
The pub has contemporary decor and a mixed clientele including young couples and pensioners, all well behaved and convivial.

The food was very tasty, but the menu was a little limited and a few more specials could help. We wanted to purchase a bottle of wine but were informed that there were only two white wines available and neither were chardonnay, so a larger selection would be appreciated. Unfortunately, the service was abrupt and not what we've experienced during previous visits. One person had to wait for their food and although informed that there would be a delay, no apology was given. I hope this feedback helps as we do wish you every success.
