The table was right next to the speaker and the music was fairly loud. The food was delicious however not much available for younger guests. I asked for chips which they aren’t able to do on a Sunday. I appreciate this however seeing as there were 5 main meals being ordered I didn’t think it was totally unreasonable to request a bowl of chips. We asked for more veg and they politely accepted and brought more. Overall very tasty and good atmosphere.

First time in a long time. Had a lovely meal and washed it down with a nice bottle of Rioja.
The menu wasn't the same as on their website but still a good selection of popular food types. Caters for Veggie, Vegan and others.
Would I go back? Most definitely.

Really enjoyed the experience of Sunday lunch in The Kings Arms for my birthday. I loved the delicious gluten free bread and the fact that the chef was willing to cook the gluten free Yorkshire puddings we had brought and served these alongside the lovely roast we enjoyed. Loved the relaxed ambience and real fire on a stormy day!

It was a pity that all the food on the menu was not available, we were informed when we arrived that the pork and rump steak were not available, which just happened in be two of our choices. However the food was ok, pub was very busy and the service quite acceptable despite this. A bit overpriced for a village pub.

We had a very nice dinner and drinks in this friendly pub with great service.
The belly pork main and the fruit crumble were both very good.
The pub has contemporary decor and a mixed clientele including young couples and pensioners, all well behaved and convivial.

Greeted by the Landlord as soon as we arrived as the `landlady was busy, shown to our table, drinks ordered and brought to the table. Food ordered and arrived quickly. Tender beef fresh veg roast potatoes and horseradish with a Huge Yorkshire pudding. An individual pot of hot gravy each. Delicious probably one of the nicest pub roast dinner I have had in along while. Husband could have done with a few more potatoes. Delicious chocolate orange sponge with custard. Will definitely return another day. Thank you Kings Arms

The food was very tasty, but the menu was a little limited and a few more specials could help. We wanted to purchase a bottle of wine but were informed that there were only two white wines available and neither were chardonnay, so a larger selection would be appreciated. Unfortunately, the service was abrupt and not what we've experienced during previous visits. One person had to wait for their food and although informed that there would be a delay, no apology was given. I hope this feedback helps as we do wish you every success.

Pub virtually empty -much reduced menu with hardly any choice basket meals -no more a gastropub by the look of things, (though the prices were less than before). Desserts -only 3 - we had tasteless cheap ice-creams with rock hard chocolate buttons which certainly didn’t taste of chocolate.. not enough veg with the “specials” that we all had. This has been a brilliant place to eat, we’ve had some super meals here, but unless it goes back to original format we will not be returning to eat. The place was virtually empty on a Saturday night and usually it is rammed with people at the bar drinking, plus lots of diners. What is going on with this once excellent pub?
