As always lovely food and pleasant staff, issue sorted straight away, always recommend to friends and family. Only slight problem is chairs in restaurant area can sometimes be too close to the chairs at the next table, so can be difficult to get in and out from table.

The new menu at the London is brilliant....from.high end dishes eg duck/seafood/steak to great hamburgers.. we had the moules..which were absolutely delicious..fish and chips ( best in town!) and the seafood dish.. ( like a fish pie but better !) Had the steak before with divine black.peppercorn sauce..also very good indeed. The new chef is a keeper !

Nice ambience. Great food and difficult to think how it could have been better. Service could have been a shade warmer initially but improved later. Maybe we arrived at a difficult moment. We all had the seafood platter which was very good, so cannot comment on the rest of the menu. Also very good was the choice and quality of the real ales; and the wines, where simplicity of choice was not a problem as the quality was excellent at a reasonable price.

The staff absolutely amazing, really kind an helpful, had an our auntie Eileen with us who is fast approaching 90, an couldn't finish the meal an they really stepped up to the mark an brought a foil tray with a lid so she could enjoy the rest of the meal later, so kind and understanding, the food amazing i had the seabass in thai green sauce, and my partner an aunty Eileen had the hunters chicken an really really enjoyed it, ambience absolutely lovely felt cozy an at home, so yes amazing time had by all
