Thank you for a lovely meal. Our suggestions for improvement could be the temperature of the room, it could have been warmer. Furthermore, it could have been a bit lighter, although cosy for those who struggle with poor vision it would be quite difficult.

The food was superb; both had fish dishes which were cooked to perfection, great flavours and well presented. Atmosphere was relaxed and decor very sympathetic for the age of the building. The waitress was lovely but was on her own serving several tables so we did have to remind her to fetch our drinks after quite a long wait. Understandably staffing can be difficult but possibly consider another member of staff serving drinks at the bar when the restaurant is busy.

Pretty good, although brulee described as with Bailey's and shortbread came with 2 very basic 'Nice' biscuits and not even a hint of Baileys. Did mention this at the time to waiter.

Lovely friendly polite service, but a large party were rather noisy, hard to change that as it was a big birthday celebration. Will definitely return as we can walk to venue and very pleasant experience.
