Walked in from a cold evening into a lovely warm space with a friendly welcome. Enjoyed a main course from the autumn menu, with a soft drink (driving) followed by tea. The service was friendly, the food tasted great, was nicely presented and altogether was a great prelude to our very positive theatre experience. Excellent service by Nieve, even although we were late. My sister and I were very impressed with the pork loin, with all vegetables cooked to perfection, and the honeyed carrots perfectly al dente. Food was from a wide variety of choices, although I think on the main menu it could have been fewer fish options. If you are a fussy eater, then you are basically stuck with the "meat and 2 veg option" which was the butterfly chicken breast. However, the dessert was superb. Unfortunately I have been suffering from severe sickness and diarrhea since early Saturday morning until the present time. It would be intesting to know if any of the other guests who had the turkey have reported the similar symptoms.

As always the Rep provides a pleasant venue for meeting friends. The food is always a bit different and usually excellent. This time, however, I found the winter root vegetable pie disappointing as the filling was mostly carrot, not the mixture I expected, parsnips, swede, &. Other than that the whole experience was great.

The food was so good. It’s really helpful knowing there are vegan choices for all courses. The waiting staff were lovely and the food was brought to our table very soon after being ordered . I’ve never been in the rep restaurant before but will be back in the future.

We had a lovely dining experience at the restaurant, the vegetarian risotto was delicious and fresh topped with pea shoots. Service was lovely too with very helpful staff ( they tried hard to find the vinegar for our table but unfortunately it was missing) Other than that thank you for a lovely meal in great surroundings for a lovely catch up with friends.

We had such a lovely pre-theatre meal on Saturday night. Thank you all! The menu had a great selection (it was difficult to choose!). We both really enjoyed what we eventually chose to eat. Compared to recent meals we have had out, the value for money was astonishing! So reasonably priced. We both also commented on the standard of service. Best we’ve had in a very long time. Smart, professional, well trained and friendly. Fantastic. Great to see a member of staff regularly (and very discreetly) checking round the room making sure all was well. We noticed! All in all, we will be back - but not just when we are going to see a production in the theatre! We will also recommend the Rep Restaurant to friends and family. Thanks again.

Hadn’t eaten here for a long time - new menu has good choices. Waitresses very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious. Will definitely come back again whether going to a show or not. Well Done!
